From walking in the door until walking out again I felt welcome, the waiters are so polite and accommodating , the food is first rate, the red house wine very palatable, a complimentary liqueur very welcome , altogether a very pleasant evening.

There is a lack of decent Indian restaurants in and around Amersham, so Spice Society got a visit following recommendation. The food was OK and food and drinks excellent value. I am inclined to spend a little more and travel a little further next time. If you're on a tight budget, then it's an excellent choice. Similar standard to the... More

Excellent meal and friendly service. Not expensive for the quality and quantity of food. Budget £20 a head for a great meal.

Went here with some work mates for an evening curry. Staff nice and friendly and food lovely. Took a while for our mains to come out but we didn't mind too much as gave us more time to chat! Would come here again.

£20 for a main, Rice, Naan, a side and a large Perrier. It arrived in a timely manner and looked great. Everything tasted spot on. The dry style Saag Aloo was exquisite and the Naan was perfect. Living close to Bradford I've eaten at some very good Indian restaurants, this place was really nice.

Visit this restaurant for the first time after reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor. The food and service was great! We had the mixed starter for 4 and shared a couple of curry dishes. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. It is a small restaurant that was full on the Friday evening, so I suggest you... More

I have been visiting Amersham (from Australia) yearly since I moved from the UK and make sure that i eat at Spice Society two or three times each trip. The food is absolutely wonderful and the service is impeccable. You know it's a good restaurant because if you order a takeaway, sometimes there's a wait of an hour! Everything is... More

Third visit here to this compact restaurant. Once again the service was good and the food excellent. Our variety of dishes melded well and yet all had a distinct flavour and good balance. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed given that it is not the largest of establishments - so do go if you are in the area but it... More
