I visited for the first time with my family, for my dad's 50th birthday - our table was decorated for the occasion, and my dad was given a free creme brulee after dessert. The narrow size of the menu reflects the attention given to the quality of ingredients - the food is excellent. The set menu is very good at... More

Great food but could do with parisian music (or any music for that matter). Sea bass perfectly done, vanilla sauce was stupendous

I've lived in Dunstable for four years and never been to this place. My Mum and I booked a table on Friday night to celebrate something. It was very busy so we're glad we booked. The staff were great the service was excellent. The food was delicious, I had crab followed by the seafood platter and it was fantastic. It... More

Went for the A la carte menu although they also had a very good value set menu. Had the pigeon and the scallops to start, the pigeon was overcooked which I would never expect to happen in a French restaurant but wasn't terrible as this gave it a kind of liver texture. For mains we had the lamb and the... More

After spending a month in south of France where the food was really poor and disappointing it was a treat to eat an authentic french meal. Service was excellent The Duck was amazing and I couldn't finish it as it was a a whole half and the sauce was delicious Do try it

We came in here on a Tuesday evening and to be expected it was quiet. The restaurant is beautiful, in an old building and with lovely French bistro feel about it. We were served by a personable and professional gentleman. We had the scallops and the beef tartar to start which were both very nice. Followed by the lamb and... More

This is maybe the third visit and each time I say never again. The last time was in May this year and was unimpressed with the quality of the food. in particular the steakI had was not what Id expect in a supposedly good restaurant. When the plate was cleared away there was at least half of inedible fat and... More

Ate here for the first time last night and will definitively go back. They have two options to make it affordable, and a la carte and a fixed price 3 course menu with lovely choices and very rare to find this on a Friday and Saturday so a big tick!!! I had the Sea Bass and Salmon and my partner... More

Description
On the Good Food Guide since 2010 Family-run restaurant serving impressive food. Situated in the heart of Dunstable, there's a large car park just steps away from the restaurant. Chez Jerome is housed in a 15th Century timber-framed building and the decor certainly sets the mood. The layout of the restaurant is ideal and even allowed for small closed-off spaces where diners could feel secluded. Chez Jerome sources as much local produce as possible and the freshness and quality of their ingredients is apparent in the taste. A lovely touch by Chez Jerome is opening earlier for you if you want to eat before going to the cinema or theatre. All this, combined with professional yet friendly staff, first-rate dishes - in terms of quality, taste and presentation - and a great, warm, friendly atmosphere, ensures Chez Jerome's ongoing popularity as the ultimate local gem.Open for Lunch & Dinner Monday to Saturday Sunday open for Lunch from 12:00pm till 3pm (last orders) with live Contemporary Smooth Jazz
