Visited at the recommendation of Casa Marlene our hotel. What a lovely, appetising and un-complicated place. A little way out of the town centre but well worth the 5 minute walk required. Food was first rate and great value.

Oh my gosh! What a great and affordable find! It doesn't open until 6--dinner only (at least when we were visiting). The menu of little bites---tostadas, panuchos, etc. were about 13 pesos each and the BEST of our month in the Yucatan. Everything was fresh,...More

We thought we’d try this restaurant given the great reviews and were so delighted with the food and cost we went two consecutive nights for dinner! Our 3 kids aged 10, 8 and 4 loved the meat and cheese empanadas. The price was very reasonable...More

We enjoyed our meals at La Selva. It's casual, but nice. A lot of tourists, but also some locals. The food is tasty and the margaritas were rather good. It's also good value. I'd definitely go back.

Came to this restaurant after reading a review of it on a traveller’s blog. It was 8 minutes walk from where we were staying, El Meson del Marques and even in the rain it was definitely worth it. You walk through suburban streets, where you...More

Very nice mexican restaurant with local food. They have delicious Sopa de Lima and also the taccos we had were very good. Margarita was strong enough and we paid just 200 pesos for two drinks, two empanadas, two panuchas, two tacccos and big soup. I...More

Food was nothing to shout home about but decent and fairly cheap at 12 pesos for tostadas/sopes/panuchos. They missed off the cheese from my order because they were out.

It doesn't open until after 5PM and it's on a street corner. Perhaps you went early and didn't notice it because it was closed?
