After a long day driving from Cancún Airport via the site at Ek-Balaam it was good to chill out in this small but friendly restaurant. I hadn't had tamales before and the vegetarian one was tasty although I wasn't sure I liked the texture. The...More

Our first night in Yucatán & we strolled to Palapita for dinner. Great setting , friendly staff , very relaxed atmosphere & good food. The guaco mole was delicious. Great way to start our trip.

Worst experience ! Got scammed by the wrong bill and scammed by the avocados dip. Be careful, check your bill twice! We clearly only spent about 150 peso on our bill, but staff bought the bill for 365 peso without listing how much each fish...More

Food was mediocre generally guacamole was good but that was about it. After we left we realised we’d been overcharged by 100p by the waiter. It’s obviously a thing he does reading the other reviews. Watch out!

Unfortunately I have to rate this restaurant a 1. My husband and I actually had a great meal there - food/drink were all delicious and we were happy to see reasonable prices on the menu. The ambiance was lovely in the evening, dining by candle...More
