I love this place! They have a great menu with lots of vegan and vegetarian dishes, refreshing smoothies and homemade bread. Service is super nice, like visiting a friend for lunch. Location is also great. You could walk all Calzada los Frailes, visit the Convent...and end in the restaurant for lunch. Can't wait to go back!More

there are so many veg options, and they are all clearly labeled. It is located in a quiet community with a large storefront, open space, and an outdoor dining area surrounded by tropical plants. After the meal, a pot of tea will be served (free-of-charge),...we got a very good mint tea that night. By the way, they also have a vegan ice cream! More

Beautiful place, great food, good price. The fries are amazing, the soup is nice and light for those that miss vegetables and the veggie burger is incredible. Share the platter if you order it - it’s big!

Amazing food in a nice place. The menu have a lot of food choices (vegan, vegetarian or meat lover). It a restaurant that take care of the food they use (most of it organic) and local food. Not expansive.

Yerba Buena is a charming restaurant serving healthy meals with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood, right across the street from the park and Convent. The menu featured smoothies, juices, breakfasts, typical Mexican and Yucatan dishes, salads, etc. Everything...is prepared fresh. I visited here three times during my stay in Valladolid and ordered the tamales, Papadzules, El Tropical smoothie and the coconut flan. It was all so delicious, especially the flan, which was heavenly and mouth watering! There was seating in the open air portion of the restaurant and a few tables in a beautiful outdoor garden area which was surrounded by lots of tropical plants. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the decor was colourful and cute. The staff were attentive and the service was excellent. The restaurant also had free Wi-Fi which had a strong connection. Yerba Buena is a great restaurant in Valladolid if you’re looking for healthier vegetarian or vegan food. I will be back!More

You can tell all the dishes are freshly made. We went there for lunch and then came back the next day for breakfast because we just had to try some other dishes from the menu. I highly recommend the agua de Chaya, the enchiladas and...the pancakes. The deserts are also amazing, specially the ice creams and the tamal de chocolate.More

We were driving through Valladolid on our way to Mérida and we came across this place listed as Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. We traversed across town in the heat down the lovely Calle de Los Frailes, noted as the prettiest avenue in this Pueblo Mágico....It was hot and we were hungry, but the journey to finding this special place on the opposite end of town from the main square, Zocalo, was a lovely one. The little green house that is Yerba Buena is a light, airy, clean and modern space. We were greeted with friendly smiles from the staff and the center jardín, or garden, was fresh and welcoming from the heat outside. We ordered an agua fresca de chia, mint and lime which was refreshing as well as a beet, ginger, orange and pepino juice which fortified as well as energized. El Suizo ordered the vegan burger with a side salad and I ordered a a trio of blue corn sopes & quesadillas. Everything was super flavourful and made with care. Homemade and comforting with thoughtful service, this place just feels good from the inside out. A must visit!More

The restaurant was a pleasant surprise in Valladolid. The internal court create a very relaxing ambient, perfect if you need relax from the noise of the city. The food is delicious, various vegan and vegetarian choices. The service is very careful and precise. Definitely recommended!

I enjoyed a great salad during my last visit, alas not this time. Although I expect menus to change, I did not expect limp lettuce and a bland veggie burger. The service was mediocre as well. Maybe next time but for now I’m busy exploring...other great restaurants.More
