My party of 4 enjoyed drinks and snacks here on a late afternoon, and met another couple for the same the next afternoon. I especially enjoyed the cappuccino as well as the lomitos. Service is a bit slow, but no one rushes you from the table either.

As you may have read there have been problems with guest's bills. I have found, on a day when the tour buses are in, and tourists are about, this Restaurant is adding their gratuity on the bill. We are all old enough to know how and when to tip. We do not need, or want, the restaurant to add their... More

Food was average as was the service. Pretty location but nothing special in the food. I've paid a lot less for a lot better

- one of the few places with outdoor sitting and good views over the main square of this bustling provincial town Service good but as others note with a serving charge- used to it from London find it ok as it's optional and at least you know Food- some local specialities which are interesting try the lomitos valladolidiana... Good drinks-... More

Had 4 drinks at this place. The bill was 240, paid with 500, got back 200. When questioned they informed about a 15 % surcharge for service. During my whole trip in Mexico this is the only place I got ripped of.

We chose this restaurant as it was busy and looked nice and clean. We had three evening meals here. Service was prompt, food was fresh and tasty.

I have eaten there a two times over the years and the food has always been poor or mediocre, and we once waited an hour for our food.

We are not clear at why you keep on coming back! Could it be that you only want to write a bad review? Could it be that you do not know any better? Three times!! For bad service and food, there has to be something wrong with you! Your review top my curiosity, Why would anyone keep on going to... More

Real food. Taste fantastic, and was full after one plate. Definitely will make a visit when I return again. The waiters/waitress were courteous, and polite.

We had dinner here on a Sunday night. Great spot to watch the band and dancing next to the square. Tried their two specialities, the slowly cooked pork and the yucutan sausage, both were fantastic. Staff did well given we speak almost no Spanish. Beers were also some of the cheaper ones we found around the square area.

As part of tour we had a stop at Valladolid, after about an hour walking about the town in blistering heat, we settled at La Cantina for a cold beer. The location is perfect on the corner of the main square overlooking a small park and great for people watching. Much to my surprise the prices were very reasonable and... More
