Perfect food. But ask for local menu in spanish. English menu is for turist with higher prices. It's like a small scam. See menu photos attached. They are closed on evenings, therefor we had only lovely lunch there.

Great food, great service at a good price! All in a beautful tropical setting. The staff are extra nice. As an added bonus, the restrooms have both soap and paper towels.

Absolutely love this place. Fresh and very inexpensive. We visit every year and always eat here. The ceviche is fresh and delicious! A must if you come to Mahahual.

My wife and I had guacamole, fish tacos & shrimp tacos .. all were great. Nothing better than food and beers on the beach.

We didn't even eat here. Asked for a Spanish menu and he insisted I use the English menu. First of all, I didn't need the English menu, nor do I have any American dollars on me. Would love to have seen how much cheaper the...Spanish menu was because this was nuts in American dollars. I'm not from the cruise ship, I am staying in the casitas with acquaintances. Pretty frustrating because I heard the food was good,.More

We arrived at 4.45pm and they served us dinner and didn't press us to leave - they close at 5pm. The ceviche was excellent. My lobster tail was cooked in butter and garlic and tasted brilliant. I highly recommend this location.

At the quiet end of the boardwalk. Indoor or beach tables available. The beach tables are great. They are on the sandy beach with umbrellas. Get there early, they seem to close when the run out of their gret ceviche.

Great people, great food and REALLY good prices. Cute dogs hang out there too. Has a lovely beach that is good for wading and watching the sunrise.

I have been here before and liked the ceviche but I decided to try something different this time and ordered the grilled chicken breast, was so disappointed it was uncooked!! I told the waitress and he took my plate and never come back! I wish...the manager take care of this issues! Quality is going down the hill!More

One of two restaurants at the southern end of the beach promenade, always busy with locals, not too many cruise shippers and it's perfect to sit at a table on the beach and have quality fresh seafood - always tasty, promptly served and well staffed....Hands down my favorite ceviche in town.More

Yes the ceviche is as good as all the reviews say, but the baked plantains were also really yummy. And right on the beach.

We had a very nice lunch, local food. Everything was freshly made, the portions were generous, and the price was great! Nice location right on the beach. Would definitely visit again!

Great restaurant on south end of Mahahual, gets freshest fish from the local fishermen’s cooperative. Off the beaten path for most cruise shippers, great for independent travelers and locals.

We walked down to this spot and it looks like where the locals hang out. It’s a nice walk down the beach front. You can save if you bring pesos and ask for the peso menu. We paid the US dollar prices, which were okay....We had fish tacos, and the best margaritas of our trip; frosty and served in a large chalice. Sulumar has tables right on the beach. Our waiter invited us to use lounge chairs after lunch, but we didn’t have time to stay longer. You could spend a whole afternoon here! Can’t beat the ocean views.More
