We ate lunch and dinner here during our short stay in town. Service is friendly, food is good, price is low. Recommended.

We were there the whole day. We had breakfast, a lot of beer, sandwhich, coffee, water and so on. Everything was delicious and the boss, Carlos, is really nice. Dont pay in Dollar! Ask for the Pesos-Menu and you will safe up to 100 % !

We were two families visiting mahahual, the place was great, it had music. Our waitress was Arturo, who has so nice and cared so much. He told us to have the lobster, so we did and we did not regret it at all, its was sooo good. We also had a huge fish that was about $80usd and it was... More

This place is full of joy, the waiters are the best! You have service at the beach or in the restaurant. The ceviches are very good!

We enjoyed our time in Costa Maya, not sure where to stop we walked along the beach and found Jose at El Capitan to be most accommodating. Most places do chase you down offering free chairs, etc but we were charged $3 per person. It was worth it for the service we received. There is truly something about the outstanding... More

Exactly what can you expect when you go to a local restaurant in a fishermen village: fresh products, personal service and good portions and a very cold beer.

Great people, yummy shimp cocktail and the guys even climbed a coconut tree to make us great Coco Loco. While we were on the beach the staff was eating a giant bowl of Ceviche, when they saw us looking over they brought us a nice plate full "on the house" it was to die for.

We had lunch on the beach after talking with Cane our server on the malecon. He had the manager get us some free welcome margaritas and we ordered fish fajitas and a special steak dish. The fish was great, the steak dish was not as good as the fish, but not bad. I think staying with the local seafood and... More

While in Costa Maya during a cruise, we headed over to Mahahual for the day rather than sitting at the cruise tourist village. In Mahahual, the wonderful beach is lined with bar after bar, all offering the same thing - free lounge chairs, wifi, and shade on the beach - with the expectation that you will order drinks and lunch....
