We had a great dinner, arriving late in Mahahual. A feeling of end of the world, just the noise of the wind and the sea... The owners, a couple, are simple and very welcoming. Feels like home. And the kitchen is like home! Fish from the oven, everything is fresh. The set up is also very nice, tables with tiles,... More

Great food. Intimate setting where people talk with each other and the food is excellent. Order the day before and get the fondue. We had fondue for a birthday celebration and couldn't have chosen a better experience. Just wonderful and the owner makes great drinks.

Super owner/mngr on site. Not fancy but clean. Food was something you will not find anywhere else in Mexico. Northern European with a Mexican flair.

Clean and neat room at the first floor, but room at the second room need to fiz door and windows' screen. 15 minutes walk to Mahahual town. Good food, but pricy for a short budget. In general, Mahahual beach was difficult to swim because the aquatic plant, sargazo. Also you can not walk at the beach shore because restaurants have... More

Our party of six, including three vegetarians, visited.this lovely restaurant several times during our stay in Mahahual. The night time walk from our hotel was magical, along a road alive with fireflies and cicadas. The welcome was warm; the setting charming and full of character, and the food was always superb The friendly informality helped to make dining here a... More

OK, the place is actually lovely. Right on the water, secluded, and quaint, with artisinal paintings and carvings throughout. My wife and I went there because we heard they were vegetarian friendly, so here goes: I'm a chef and I know we can be very picky and critical, but my first impression of the service was bad. The male owner... More

Thank you for your review on Travel in’ Sorry it was not to your liking. A direct approach would have been appreciated. We are proud of running a solar powered restaurant with the two of us. Having had hot days without sun it was necessary to run the generator to have among other things the fan on in the restaurant.... More

Justa and Albert are amazing hosts and their cooking is phenomenal. The Travel In put together a night of fantastic drinks, appetizers and dinner entrees for our wedding welcome dinner. It was everything we had hoped for and more! Their location on the beach is spectacular and the backyard garden is beautiful. I would highly recommend dining here for a... More

We stayed at a nearby establishment and visited Travel In one evening for dinner. The patio was full so we sat inside, where I was a bit troubled by flies buzzing past my ear. We realized we were near two perpendicular windows and so in the path of these creatures. After adjusting our seats slightly we were more comfortable. I... More
