This is just a really great place all around. Great food, great drinks and delicious ice cream. We go here everyday for at least ice cream! It absolutely rivals the small batch ice cream in big cities like SF but here in tiny Akumal. Very unique. The salted caramel and cookie dough are amazing!!

Staying locally with a school group, some of us often had a break from diving and the beach here for morning coffee and icecreams. There are yummy cakes and things to have. The cheesecakes were gorgeous, some of the other cakes a little dry although tasty, and the portion sizes are more than generous. Ice creams are fantastic. Turtle bay... More

We arrived early in Akumal and were looking for a place for breakfast and were so glad we settled on Turtle Bay Bakery & Cafe. The eggs Benedict were incredibly good and were the best breakfast I had during my trip to Mexico. The menu is very extensive and there would be reasonably priced food for any and all tastes... Famous for the ice crean and so close by the Dive Center of Akumal, it has its own parking with security people. You do not need to pay for parking if you go to the shop or to the food places. After eating just Mexican food for a week, a real yummy burger felt SO GOOD. Great service and price,... More

We stopped here after a fun afternoon of snorkeling and good food at La Buena Vida, one of my most favorite places on earth.😊 We asked our driver to make a stop on the way back to our resort. We all had some delicious ice cream. They have a very good selection of flavors so everyone got to choose their... More

Our family of 6 enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, Chilean Salmon, chicken fajitas, quesadillas and crab cakes all in the same meal. And afterwards a few of us had ice cream 🍨 for dessert. This venue offers great breakfast too. From pan cakes to burritos you will have a great start to your day. Two meals in one day at this favorite restaurant.

This is our second visit in 4 years. Our kids were excited to go back here. After a day of snorkeling with the turtles, we had a delicious lunch of fresh pico de gallo and chips, shrimp ceviche, shrimp and fish tacos, etc... everything was amazing and the service is quick and friendly! We will visit here each and every... More

We went to the turtle bay restaurant in the evening. The temperatures were nice – not too hot, and the lighting and the colorful decor made the place look amazing! The atmosphere is the best! The food was also a success for both adults and children. I have to say that the best food we have had we had at... More

I spent my birthday week in Akumal. My daughter wanted a cake and we were told that turtle bay bakery made them. They made a really nice looking and delicious cake. A big thumbs up for making my b-day complete.
