Easy spot for a quick breakfast or lunch on a nice day. We went snorkeling for a while, then stopped at Turtle Bay Cafe for brunch on our way to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary around mid day. Chilaquiles were great!

This colorful and comfortable spot is a must-go stop for a meal or a snack! The scrumptious cerviche, with a Superior beer or two, was a perfect mid-day treat. We also enjoyed their Arrancha steak sandwich (reminded me of a good Philly cheesesteak sans the orange cheese). The smoothies are a meal in and of themselves! Great ambience, great service,... Definitely a must in Akumal. Great atmosphere and centrally located to the beach and dive shops in Akumal. We've been to Akumal a half a dozen times and Turtle Bay is by far our most popular breakfast stop. It's all outdoor seating (which is the same for almost any restaurant in Akumal). My personnel recommendation is the breakfast burrito or... More

I think we ate here almost everyday while we in Akumal. Breakfast was very delicious and the happy hour food and drink specials made the walk more than worth it!

My girlfriend and I were staying in Akumal Bay Beach hotel and decided to have a walk up the beach and into Akumal town. I'd read on here that this place did the best ice cream and we weren't disappointed. Towards the end of our trip we had some money leftover after doing the trips we wanted to and we... More

Excellent for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink and some television viewing. There are also cats to pet and ice cream to be had from Lucy's. Everything we've had there is great and we go several times each time we're in Akumal (annually). The owners are friendly and welcoming and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Can't wait to... Fantastic, fanastic- oh did I say fantastic:) We have never had breakfast so decided it was about time. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the "more healthy" eggs benedict. The burrito was huge, and pretty sure it was a homemade tortilla. It was stuffed with scrabbled eggs, cheese, black beans, potatoes, avocado and more, with a spicy salsa on the... More

This is such an adorable restaurant and everything on their menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner looked great! We had breakfast there which was awesome and so filling! Huge selection of juices and smoothies! Dinner was incredible and the blackened tuna tacos were out of this WORLD! We had great service and awesome meals. Highly highly recommend this place. We... We have been coming to Akumal for many years and visit Turtle Bay Bakery most every day when we are visiting. They have a fabulous variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a lovely bar with TV's if you want to watch a sporting event. The staff is wonderful and always friendly. Don't forget to stop by... More
