This place has the best margaritas!! We like to visit early during our vacation and schedule a morning to go fishing during the week. They bring the fish back to the restaurant and cook it for you. We recommend the ceviche and fish tacos prepared...with garlic. And of course margaritas and cerveza!More

Great afternoon visit! Raziel was a great server. The food was awesome, beers were cold and the walk from the resort was minimal and definitely worth it! The food was that good!

We were recommended this restaurant b y the captain of our fishing charter and it did not disappoint- they cooked our fresh Barracuda - fried, backed and ceviche- it was fantastic and $11 per person. I love this about fishing in Mexico- restaurants that cook...your catch are my favorite!More

We always visit this restaurant while staying down the beach at ABBWR. We had just completed a one hour walk in +30 Celsius heat, and their cold, powerful margaritas hit the spot. The shrimp tacos were delicious as was the guacamole. 10/10.

We were surprised by the poor quality of the food. The fish filet was dry and chewy, the ribeye tough and flavorless. Nothing tasted fresh. There are so many other nice restaurants in the area, skip this one. So expensive for what you get.

There are only a handful of restaurants in Akumal, and a few more across the highway in the Pueblo (where I unhesitatingly recommend Tequilaville) which I suppose explains this place’s continued survival. We have eaten there a few times over the last 18 years, always...hoping for a better experience than the last, which has usually been two or three years earlier, but it never changes. It is absolutely maddening. Guys, please get your sit together and take advantage of your setting and location! Tonight after ten days in Akumal we finally cracked and gave it another chance. Indifferent servers sitting around playing with their phones should have been enough warning. I had to interrupt them to request seating. Then, in short order, and before menus had even arrived, our waiter mocked my 22-year-old son for not drinking alcohol, and tried to hustle us into taking a fishing trip with him tomorrow. He then delivered drinks and menus and returned to his phone. The food was ok, perfectly edible, but not great. As we walked back to our hotel Sidcup minor commented it was the worst he had eaten since our arrival, and he was right. Aside from Tequilaville, I particularly recommend Lol Ha (superb ceviche, ask for mixed, including octopus, which is not on the menu) and Loncheria Akumalito for breakfast or lunch.More

A fine casual place specializing in local seafood. Friendly staff, nice al fresco dining. Not expensive at all, either.

Excellent service, excellent mixed seafood ceviche and fish tacos. A+++ My daughter ordered the chicken quesadillas and loved them. This is a must-visit restaurant after a day of snorkeling and lounging!

We went out fishing with the crew, and brought back a barracuda, plus a bunch of panfish. They cooked them up for us for a fantastic dinner for 10. We love the staff here, they are all so friendly and helpful. Great place, highly recommend.

I asked if they had queso with ground beef and I got a block of melted monterey jack with some strange cubes of meat. I couldn't tell if it was beef or pork or neither. Wife ordered garlic shrimp and it was just grilled shrimp...with not hint of garlic. Said it had mexican rice but it was just white rice. Service was ok, took forever to get bill paid.More

We visited several times in March. Once when my husband caught fish and they cooked it for us. That is a real treat to eat the fish you catch. We will go and order off the menu too, good portions and pricing. WARNING to the...ladies....these margaritas are strong...two will be more than enough...sometimes my friends don't believe me and then I am helping them walk home! hahahahMore

I love the prices of this place, the cheaper ones of the zone Akumal, and the flavour of the food, so much better than other that cost 2 or 3 times more. 100000% recomend this place for casual lunch, don’t expect to much, just a...good and healthy meal.More
