The fish at Cueva was very fresh and grilled nicely. The coleslaw served with the fish, though, was room temp. I chose not to eat it. I ordered corn tortillas and they were very good - not too thick. Service was decent and the waiters nice. My biggest complaint is the close location of the tables. I'm not a fan... More

Every time we visit the Barceló Maya Colonial at Puerto Aventuras, we make sure we take a ride to Akumal just to eat at Cueva del Pescador. The ambiance is relaxing and the food is delicious. My favorite is the fried red snapper! Their chips and salsa is fabulous and their margeritas are the best. Check it for yourself. You... More

I wish the resort we stayed at made cocktails like this! Delicious seafood and friendly service...Great vibe, and a nice respite from the all inclusive.

Great food, service and price! Need I say more?! Oh yeah and the mango juice, yum! My fish tacos were so amazing with a side of rice, retried beans and guacamole. So good! Must try!

Tasty food, great prices, right in front of the Akumal beach entrance (a bit hard to find though) but it was really good, we didn't wait long for our food and we were not disappointed! Recommended for everyone!

We went to this restaurant twice after snorkeling. We loved the outside seating and atmosphere. The food was great--once with fresh fish and the other with breaded. The waiter told us before we ordered so no surprises. The drinks are generous. good cold beer. No stress, good place to relax. Love the nachos and home made pico--good kick. Keep your... More

We came for lunch and loved the setting- tables in the sand with a view of the bay. The prices are a bit steep for the quality and the setting is the star, not the food. Drinks- non alcoholic were very tasty. Overall a great place to have a leisurely snack. They have a pool that you can use which... More
