We have lived in Akumal for three years. But we just visited Imelda’s today for the first time. She served up some of the best home cooked food ever! Shame on us for not having gone a long, long time ago.

Lunch at La Ecocina is the best in the area! Right across from the basketball court in Akumal, Imelda cooked us enchiladas & a burrito. Great prices and wonderful quality! Trying the fresh squeezed dragonfruit juice is a must :)
