If you are interested in authentic local cuisine, and by that I mean in keeping with tradition, but inventive and thoughtful, then check out this restaurant. I was in Punta de Mita first the first time in 2014, and the owner/proprietor/head chef, Samuel Ochoa pulled two starving surfers off the street and simply took charge. Best meal I had had... More

We had a family style meal where the chef brought many different dishes and we all tried some of each. Everything was excellent! Once the sun goes down this place becomes very charming.

A great meal and mescal drinks, with attentive service and fresh food. It was a nice quiet meal off the beaten path.

Went to eat here last week after reading great reviews, took taxi from Sayulita. ($70 RT!), we were the only ones there all evening, food was less than impressive. Hibiscus margarita was very good, however the steak tacos were not. Very fatty. Weird music playing, and the beach was dirty and not much to look at. All the other other... More

We loved Serendipity! Headed there with a rib intent, we also found an amazing tuna dish and unique prawn dish that my picky eating girls LOVED! Unique house drink & delicious house dessert!

We went to our beautiful table on the beach looking at the harbor and it went up from there. The owner asked us to let them feed us and we were not sorry. Plate after pate, platter after platter of fresh, creative, incredibly flavorful dishes. Mesquite grilled meats were spectacular. We all were pretty blown away.

Angel was our waiter. So friendly and had great recommendations. The food was amazing, views even better and the drinks were so different and unique. Never had an experience like this. We went with friend so two couples. Try the Hibiscus flower drink that has jalapeno in it. At the very end they give you a desert sampler. Also they... More

We just happened upon this restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and we would highly recommend anyone visiting Punta Mita should eat here at least once! Order family style and enjoy the delicious food that comes to your table. We also enjoyed the house cocktail, which has hibiscus and jalapeños with Mezcal and lime juice-perfection!

We had a great dinner here, complete with serenading guitarists, local cats, sounds of surf, and tequila drinks. The food was excellent, although pricey.

We visited this restaurant in low season and were looked after very well by our waiter. We tried the mezcal tasting plate, the mezcal margarita cocktail and seared tuna, along with the beef ribeye tacos. We were given a complimentary plate of chips and cactus "salsa" to start, and then a complimentary key lime pie (sample size) at the end... More
