The W Hotel Punta Mita was built along the ocean and the grounds are like a jungle. The hotel is worth a visit. We decided to have drinks at the W bar and then have dinner at Spice Market. Margaritas are tasty. We went to...Spice Market a year or two ago and found the food to be way too spicy. When we went in October 2019, the food was toned down quite a bit, maybe too mild. We ordered the pad Thai, black truffle rice, salt and pepper calamari, Thai beef stir fry, egg rolls, and shrimp pork belly potstickers. All were quite tasty but some dishes need some heat or a bit of a kick. Food is a little pricey. W Hotel music was blaring as usual. We found it hard to talk at times. If you are in the mood for decent Asian food, it is worth a visit.More

We loved everything we had at Spice Market. The food was beyond what you would expect from a resort restaurant, instead, it made you feel like you were actually somewhere else, not in the Riviera Nayarit for sure, although, we really enjoy it. It is...a very "cool" restaurant. ...it is a Resort restaurant at a remote luxury resort apparently craving for "good" customer, so it seems to me that they should't be rushing you at 10:30 at night to place the order before the kitchen closes. There is a big difference between providing top service to your customers, even if you need to bend your closing times a little to accommodate newly arrived guests in a full restaurant on a summer night, than putting up with inconsiderate selfish guests arriving late. One reminder that the kitchen is closing is enough. Did I say that we loved the food and decor?More

Very big Jean-Georges fan, and I adored the food at this restaurant. Almost empty at low season. Five of us shared a number of small plates to start, including exceptional chicken satay with coconut, excellent unusual cauliflower, pork buns, followed by chicken pad thai, beef...stir fry with wonderful vegetables, more. Wish I had taken a picture of the menu (online version not truly reflective of what we had).More

This place literally was amazing. I love Asian food so to see something different on a Mexican resort threw me off a bit but it didn’t disappoint. From the warm fresh towels to clean our hands to the service and the food it was all...delightful. We had the shrimp wontons and beef stir fry with some cocktails it was all so good my mouth is watering just talking about it. You must try this place if staying at the WMore

We are big fans of Jean-Georges, and upon finding out that his restaurant was at W where we were staying, I made a quick attempt to make reservations! I was contacted by our helpful concierge who confirmed our reservation. I will review the W Punta...Mita in another review. We were fabulously happy with our stay there! We were a little tired upon arrival to our hotel, and I called the restaurant to move our reservation 30 minutes later. They said that it would be no problem. We arrived at the new time, and they seemed to have no record of our reservation at all. But they were happy to seat us, as there was room, but we were placed off to the side in a hedge area where the ocean wasn't visible. We started out with the Jurel Sashimi Crispy Rice. We were a little surprised to find out that only tow of the four pieces that we received had fish. The other two had avocado slices. Both types were delicious, and we loved the crunch of the crispy rice. Unfortunately, I could feel the warmth of the grease still inside the crispy rice as if it had not been properly drained from the fryer. We ordered the fried rice as a side, and it was good, but not what I would expect from a Jean-Georges restaurant. We had the local fish, but I cannot remember it's cooking style. Although the service was good, I don't think I would return.More

Totally surprised to find tasty Asian fusion dishes in Mex. Thai inspired dishes were really good as were the Chinese white buns. Service was excellent. Love local dishes but this was a nice break.

This restaurant is located inside W Hotel Punta de Mita. The design of the restaurant is pretty nice: dark mood with colorful lights. The dishes are very nice presented. The tastes are incredible, its really a Thai experience. A big plus for the drinks!!
