Chef Joe B and staff are just great. Food served as a large banquet so that's very hard to get everything perfect and keep food warm and cold when needed. I thought it was great for an event that was not an individual..meal.

The food was delicious and the service was great! We ordered coconut shrimp for our appetizer and had filet mignon for our main course.

This restaurant and bar have very good drinks and food and as such it has become a favorite of American ex-pats. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked to my liking, tender and tasty. Sonora is known for it beef.

Spent our 25th anniversary dinner here. The salads were superb, with dates, goat cheese, etc. Coconut shrimp was very good but should have been more than 4 for the price charged. The shrimp fettuccine was good, but there could have been less oil on the plate when served. It was drenched.

The cozy bar with booths and Mexican decor offers full meal service. Or you may choose to dine the the elegant dining room with fireplace atmosphere. Be sure to try the paper wrapped salmon..........

I did not expect to find the finest gourmet cuisine in a small town in Mexico. Alamos is different than many Mexican towns with its charm and history. I had the chicken piccata it was served beautifully on a banana leaf. My mom had the coconut shrimp . It was so good she had to order a second . I... More

The decor of Charisma is so charming with wonderful art pieces and wicker purse stands. The food was great--I had the spaghetti bolognese. The owner chatted with us; the service was impeccable.

Charisma is a great option in Alamos if you want another choice than Mexican food. Chef specials are particularly good. Atmosphere and decor is authentic and a great choice for a first time visit to this lovely town. Margaritas are the best! Service is slow but it's Mexico not the states. Hours are limited to Thursday-Sunday only. Pricey for Mexico.... More

The qualiy of the food, the atmosphere and the Chef, Joseph are the best! His ribs are better than New Orleans restaurants. A real treat!

Great ambience, extremely friendly service and good food. What more could one ask for? The decor is nice and they have a bar. The Chef came over to our table personally and told us about the different cuisines they could cater to.
