The best restaurant in town good food the best attention and the most important the margaritas jaajaja Ana and Raul the owners the are the most kind people. they are the best and they can recommend anything in town if you want the best food...in town you have to try el patio patzcuro and don't forget to ask for the lemon margaritas.More

Judging from our experience and other reviews, perhaps it is best to stick to basic local dishes here. My wife's chicken flautas were quite nice, with a zesty tomatillo sauce. However my dish, billed as Purepechan chicken, included parmesan cheese, which not only seemed less...than authentic, but imparted a distinctly odd flavor. Another in our group was happy with her stir fry, but it struck me me to as a clash of two cultures, as it included soy sauce, vinegar of some kind (balsamic?), and an optional dash of parmesan cheese. The interior is attractive and our service was prompt, but the food was inconsistent and average.More

We were staying at the Hotel Casa Encantada and El Patio was a short walk away. Our friends had been there before and recommended it. We were not disappointed - the food, service and drinks were great. They followed all COVID hygiene measures and we...felt safe and comfortable. On the square in Pátzcuaro so it was perfect in every way!More

Everything I’ve had, at multiple meals, is very good. I like the decor, the outdoor dining, attentive service. Their chicken soup (either broth with veggies or broth with veggies and chicken) is very good, simple, nourishing, reliably good when you want a late-night simple “cena”...(light supper)—much better than the others I’ve been to in the area. The Sopa Tarasca is good enough. I’ve always found the service cheerful and attentive, and the decor is very nice. Good when you want something good, maybe comforting, but not to make a big deal of going out.More

We headed to patzcuaro for a few days and as always el patio did not disappoint. Sopa tarascó was delicious as were the attackers tacos, enchiladas and credo Mexicano. The sanitary measures due to COVID were high and we felt safe and relaxed eating there....We will be back for sure!!More

Went to this restaurant based on reviews. Food was atrocious. I had the mole which was more like a thick spaghetti sauce than any mole I have ever had and was spread (never had spreadable mole before), over 1/4 inch thick piece of pork which...was about as tender as shoe leather. My wife had the Trachea, the local trout that is noted as one of the local specialties available at most restaurants. It was beyond taste recognition for fish. We left feeling not only disappointed but also like we were ripped off. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things? I spend a great deal of time traveling around Mexico and this was one of the worst meals I can remember.More
