I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here several times during my stay. I found the food to be very good, the coffee excellent and the one red wine they offer to be good. The staff are excellent and speak Spanish and good English.

Breakfast is served until 1, but it's only mediocre. My huevos divorciados looked the same as my husband's huevos rancheros, except for the salsas. The red and green salsas were bland and boring, and the tortillas were not very fresh. Smallish portions, but low price...More

This was our first time at LaCasa Del Cafe. We were very pleased with everything. My husband said his coffee was excellent. He had blueberry pancakes and eggs. They were packed with blueberries. I had the cheese omelet and the cheese was delicious. They brought...More

I had the chiliquiles and they were good . So many rave reviews about the coffee, but I found it to be only so-so. Slightly bitter. And have found better coffee at other places around the plaza. I would advise sticking with the Mexican dishes.

The atmosphere was nice, but the service was average, the food even less so. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my girlfriend ordered the chilequiles. I asked for the eggs to be medium, which is cooked whites and still runny yokes. I got overdone eggs...More

We enjoyed it so much here that we went back a second time. The fruit plate with yoghurt and granola is excellent, as is the breakfast burritos. Excellent coffee and fresh fruit smoothies. We like the window table so we can watch the world go...More

/the breakfast ws excellent and service was very attentive. Their Chai tea was so good that many times when I was out walking I would stop to get one to go as it was a bit chilly there!

As far as I know it is simply a breakfast and lunch place, but I would not recommend it. There are better places in Ajijic such as Gosha's.
