The lasagne is fantastic and always get the mango salad. Stephane and MAria are wonderful hosts and quite fun to chat with.

This place was the bomb of all eating establishments along the Lake Chapala Carretera. We chose this place on a Saturday evening when we weren't sure where we wanted to eat. Becasue of the wood fired pizza oven that we could see from the Carretera we decided to stop. What a wonderful surprise. I am just visiting my father that... More

Definitely a great pizza with great flavors (wood fired oven): better than any other pizza place in town in our opinion. Good Italian wines as well. Enjoyed the time there and Stefano (owner) had an interesting conversation. Great desserts and a very good Irish Coffee. There even a place for kids to play. Tip: seat inside to avoid the noise... My wife and i are staying the month of February in Ajijic and passed this restaurant many times. Didn't have a lot of reviews on Tripadvisor so kind of ignored it. We went last night and am sorry it took so long. the food was delicious and creative. I saw on the menu fettuccine pesto with shrimp or chicken. i... More

Nice atmosphere. Great people. I've been here several times but my most recent experience was disappointing (thus - one star short). I ordered the penne arrabiata. It was very dry, for my taste, and I asked for a little extra sauce. I received it but was then charged extra for it. That was annoying, and very chintsy. Had there been... More

Not far from our home, as we continue our search for new places I decided to stop here. As others have said, the ambience is wonderful. Only surpassed by the attention paid by the wife of the chef and the rest of the waitstaff. I had a penne with homemade sausage which was different and tasty. Linda had salmon she... More

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The chef, Girard, prepares excellent Italian dishes. The pasta dishes are always good and he will make what ever you want. I love the pasta with shrimp. Once a week he does lamb which is one of my favorite and I always buy an extra portion... More

Have driven past this place so many times so decided to have a light lunch. We split the Caesar Salad and Cannelloni. A Glass of wine each. A little pricier ( relative) than other Italian places BUT the flavour and texture of the food was superb. The owner makes some of the pasta himself and you can tell the difference... More

This is a very good Italian food restaurant on the north side of the carretera in west Ajijic. They have a wood burning pizza oven and make the best pizza in the area. Wood burning ovens add that hint of smoke and are the best way to make a good pizza. Several additional Italian classics that we tired were excellent... More

In a word, stunning... you're transported back across the ocean -- simplicity, exquisite preparation -- wonderful results. My wife's fettuccine al pesto camarron was very good... But she tasted mine with jealous eyes. This restaurant has moved (quickly, no choice) lately, but this dish is worth a look - and taste!
