We went and stayed there for the month of October. We loved it! We went to speculate moving there in Ajijic. The hotel staff was excellent, they treated us like we were family. We loved the old Spanish Decor. The price was very affordable and...the weather was great. I can’t say enough about the hotel.More
This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Absolutely anything on the menu is delicious. The dining in the garden is our favorite places. Prepare to take some food home in a box because the servings are very generous. My favorite is the breaded shrimp....They are large and cooked to perfection. We love this place!!More
This was a pleasant stay with very friendly and accommodative staff at the hotel. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden very much. Lovely environment. Bed was very comfortable and room was nice. We believe all rooms are on the upper level, so people with mobility...issues should be aware of the tall set of stairs.More
Despite the listing on TripAdvisor, this restaurant is never open for dinner. Breakfast and Lunch only. Dishes are hit and miss. They have a delicious Chicken Piccata. It is my usual choice.
I love this place for the view. The restaurant has a nice garden with view straight to lake Chapala. I must say that the quality and taste of food used to be better and now is just average, but is still a nice spot to...visit fir couples, friends and family.More
What a beautiful place. We dined on the outdoor courtyard for lunch. We happened to arrive during a holiday luncheon of the local Rotary Club, so it was a festive lunch. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Even with the large crowd we...experienced good service and delicious food. Our party had fish and chips, a burger and verde chicken enchiladas. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I would recommend this location for a great meal.More
The service was terrible! One of my guest was served until everyone in the table was done. I was never asked to refill my coffee cup. The arrechera tacos were salty. One of my guest ad for another drink and it was never brought. Finally...the last straw when I asked why the tostada plate never brought they blamed the cook because he didn’t know how to read and the girl who helps him didn’t come to work, then when I asked for check, that came ASAP and they had the audacity to tell me to write in a tip. I was going to give cash, but with that said I felt the service did not deserve a cent. The restaurant is beautiful location is awesome but I would never recommendMore
This is the second time I have arrived with reservations for outside dining for brunch on Sunday. Both times I was told that we could not be accommodated even though I indicated that we were with the larger group already seated, with reservations. I am...so incredibly insulted by the same male waiter who indicated, both times, that he couldn't accommodate us because the other tables were reserved. I will not return. Incredibly condescending and rude attitude. BTW, I can speak enough Spanish to be understood for this simple conversation.More
We had breakfast and lunch at La Nuevo Posada. If you go, eat at the outside garden terrace overlooking the lake. Beautiful spot. Breakfast is very good, we had several varieties of omelettes. Lunch was also good. Sandwiches, chicken caesar salad and tortilla soup were...all well done.More
A year ago my wife and I found this great place to stay in Ajijic. Enjoyed the accommodation, the staff and the location! Just recently we stayed again. This time for two weeks. Nothing has changed! The same great place, the same great service! All...of this while following COVID19 protocol! Our upcoming travel plans, though not definite at this point, will include La Nueva Posada again if we go to Ajijic.More
It is all good. Sweet view of the lake. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the garden. No rush here. Daily specials all good. Steak at dinner was good. desserts were not skimpy.
This place has very good food and drinks, and the scenery is charming, with beautiful lake views. We had a great Sunday lunch.
No place like home for Thanksgiving diner. Some of the traditional dishes for the holiday some things missing, different culture. Large crowd but good atmosphere.
Went for lunch and sat outside. Beautiful. Great Guacamole. Large salads. I'll go back and maybe sit inside as it looked beautiful too.
Our friend, her husband, my wife and I went to eat and celebrate our friends birthday. The outdoor setting was perfect and charming. The birthday serenade made a special evening more special. The superb food pleased all of us. Very nice!
