Visited Ajijic December 2015 and we were blown away with the quality and price of dining out. One restaurant in particular was amazing not only in the quality of the food but in the quantity "the fillet was at least 2pounds" enough for three meals. Prepared just perfect, well plated with excellent service. We visited the Tango several times through... More

This is by far the best and most popular with Expats. I have eaten there several times and have always had great food. Service is very good and the steaks are outstanding. I like the flank steak very tender good flavor and very good. Steaks are cooked on an open grill. Open air patio with great atmosphere. A must visit... More

It's always interesting to order a 26 ounce steak to see what it would look like. Well at Tango it looks just great. Plenty of meat for two with leftovers to take home for the next day's lunch. I've never had a bad meal there whether is was a pizza or shepard's pie. Weekends are tough as Mexicans dominate the... More

Second time to this restaurant.First time was quite good, this time was even better. Had the small filet mignon and fries while the wife had salmon, both cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the meal so much that there was nothing left on the plates..

We had heard to dine at Tango's for a great steak but for some reason I was tasting fish. The salmon was wonderful...I'll try the steak next visit. The service was very good and it seemed to be the "place to be".

Tango has been around for a while and used to be a place where your could see everyone you knew. They have a 60peso lunch that is a bargain (served between 12:30pm - 1:30pm only). The only drawback to Tango is the pesky waiters, who will take your plate away before you are finished and bother you constantly. It is... More

Four of us had dinner here several nights ago. We were all extremely happy with our experience at Tango. Two of us, myself included, ordered the Vacio steak, which in English is translated to "flap meat". I am not familiar with that term, but it does not matter, the steak was as good as I have ever had. It was... More

We made it to Tango twice on our most recent visit and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Fried cheese with peppers, mushroom "salad", vacio, great wine. Great service.

I'm going to Cancun (sigh, don't ask), and was looking at TA reviews of restaurants there. So many dollar signs, and I thought maybe they mean expensive for Mexico. To reference, thought I'd check on my Ajijic restaurant prices/dollar signs. Sadly, nope. I'm sure I'll pay 10times what I'd pay at Tango and get something not half as good. Good... More

Service is excellent; food is mediocre. We go only for the New Zealand Rack of Lamb....sometimes good, sometimes not. Sometimes they serve pieces rather than whole rack.
