We have been to the hotel's flagship restaurant --- Le Charlevoix 4 to 5 times in the past, with the most recent visit in July '16. The food is very good....with top notch service...and timing of food is also good...no waiting around.... There are some unusual a twists on some local favorites....and the pricing is comparable to other high end... More

My wife and I attend a conference recently at this hotel. It is first class and the service is excellent. It could use a bit of an upgrade in some areas, and it is somewhat cut off from the nearby town, but it is a beautiful place and we had a very nice stay there. The food at its restaurants... More

Our room was very nice, up to Faimont standards. However there is limited free parking available for hotel guests due to the Casino. It became quite annoying as you need to circle around several times to find a spot. Also, most free parking is.quite a.distance from the hotel. Finally the pool is very far rom the main hotel and there... More

We pre-booked the evening dinner before arriving at the hotel. We were pleasantly surprized to see the view from the exquisitely decorated room. Some of us ordered a special meal consisting of various courses accompanied with a fine wine, a collection of 5 wines. The meal was beautifully presented and the tastes were really fantastic. The restaurant is a bit... More

Food is very good here, we ate in the bistro area. A little more expensive than elsewhere but worth the price difference. My husband had the hamburger and loved it. Could have paid a few dollars less elsewhere but food and service would not have been as good. The hotel itself is not super young and trendy but staff goes... More

We just had a lunch here which was well served in a pleasant dinning room. Walking through the hotel lobby we had the impression that it was a rather pretentious place, with large rather gloomy public rooms, plenty of uniformed porters around. It looked like the sort of hotel that caters for the top end coach parties who expect a... More

My wife and 2 small kids stayed for 2 nights. The staff is super nice (make sure to tip them). Learn a little French and it goes a long way.

We came in early June, specifically for the golf. Unfortunately we hit a cold spell (low 50 degrees Fahrenheit and rain). However our stay was delightful. It is an incredible facility and we were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite (the largest 2 person jacuzzi I have ever seen). Despite the cold, we loved the heated pools (salt water) and walked... More

Spent the weekend at the hotel and had a wonderful time. Hotel was clean, staff were lovely and helpful. We spent some time in the gym and the pools, both or which were well maintained and a great asset. Lots of sports equipment available to borrow and a great area to explore. Only issues we had were that the air... More

The location is great, The Hotel is impressive . 3 options for eating, some shopping on site, very nice terrace , it's a great place. Some rooms are small. It's also connected to the casino.
