What a lovely place. Very local . Friendly staff. Full of tasteful local fare. Today we had a late breakfast . Reasonably priced and simply delicious . Not to be missed if you are in the area .

Fantastic food and service, and very helpful for a non French speaking guest. The ambiance and view of the St Lawrence are beautiful. This place just feels like home.

A welcoming bakery and patisserie. Perfect for a coffee and pastry or for lunch. Meet the locals and experienced their warm welcome.

We stayed in Malbaie in October and ate at the Fairmont, La Bohème, and Chez Truchon, in addition to this bakery and cafe. Hands down, this was the best spot (but, just a bakery? Yes!). It is very fresh and very good (simple—pastries, eggs, soup,...More

We stopped in for lunch and this place was packed with locals, a good sign . It has excellent soup and sandwiches. We were very pleased with the size of the servings and the tastiness. It is a buffet counter type of place

We were looking for a spot for a quick breakfast before whale watching. This bakery has an excellent selection of fresh pastries, full breakfasts and vegetarian options. Seating is eclectic family style. We will be back!

Went in for breakfast and had the best breakfast of our entire trip. The place is very eclectic and the staff were great. The belgian sourdough bread was so good, we bought one to take home. Highly recommend this place.

Cafe Chez Nous for one, but you will find more choices by Googling "repas sans gluten La Malbaie QC". Several other restaurants advertise gluten-free options also.
