I love the atmosphere! The food was fresh and very good and the music very good. We saw local singer/song writers (the Beck Sisters). We called for reservations for 8 and had to wait three days (in September). I would happily go again.

This is a tiny place and they pack a LOT of people in, so it does get quite loud. We got the cheese board, a big salad, and mussels, all were good. There was an opening act (Jordan Cameron) and then the main act (The...More

Love the atmoshere here! The food is always great and the people are friendly and courteous. Love seeing the talent onstage that I likely wouldn't see otherwise.

Good food, good music. Safer to have a reservation. Not sure where all those people came from in such a small little hamlet.

Based on reviews I had read and looking at the lunch menu on-line, I decided to give the Trailside a try. First, the good: it's a neat, eclectic restaurant in a heritage building in the town of Mt Stewart. I've heard good things about it...More

This is an overrated place. The only thing good about it would be the performers they have there once in a while. Poor kitchen and worse (and racist) service on the island

My husband and I went to the Trailside Cafe to see Ten Strings and a Goatskin (awesome band) in August. We called well ahead for tickets and when we arrived, a table was reserved for us right by the stage. The atmosphere was delightful and...More

We caught a Saturday show (Nudie & Nick) along with dinner at the Trailside. We weren't sure what to expect with regard to the food, but were pleasantly surprised by it. Our daughter had the gouda lady mac and cheese, which she thought was delicious...More
