My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on Sunday July 10th. We had been here 2 years ago and were looking forward to returning. There was a fair sized crowd waiting to get in as it was almost 11:00am. We waited about 15 minutes total to get seated. It was extremely busy, but our order was taken right away... More

Took my daughter for breakfast on the Friday July the 1st and it was a long line up. We waited and it was worth the wait! Super friendly staff, very attentive service and the food was outstanding. This will be our go to breakfast place in Port Elgin from now on!

wasn't given specials, liver was raw, white fish soggy, veggies cold. if your ordering off menu, and not getting days special, will be food warmed up in microwave. Told waitress liver had blood running out of it, she smiled and said oh must be from the water from veggies.

We were just visiting Port Elgin, and we were looking for something to eat and there was an elderly couple, was saying that everything was delicious at Aunt Mabels, so we decided to go there and tried it...but, it wasn't even good, and the food were blend and the fish that I ordered wasn't even fresh especially the vegetable it... Went to Mabel's for a hearty breakfast. Service was great, I had my coffee within a minute of sitting down. I knew I was having the Candian Skillet so I didn't need a menu. 10 minutes later my skillet arrives and it is HOT. I dug in and it seemed I would never get to the bottom of the heap... More

You might drive right by Aunt Mabel's and not stop. It's not the most attractive looking place from the highway (or inside) but the food is good. Aunt Mabel's serves "simple" meals in a relaxed setting. Service was very good as well. This was my second visit for dinner - just as good this time.

We went to Aunt Mabel's yesterday after a road trip from Waterloo . We were too early for dinner but the menu was full of mazing dished to be served after 3 pm. The lunch menu, while not as large. was still packed with appetising offers. We had the carrot cumin soup which was as good as any soup I've... More

Stayed here for the second time. Was not disappoint. Very nice rooms has a fridge and microwave. The pice is right at 55 dollars per night you can't go wrong. Extremely nice people run the place. Will be glad to stay there again should the opportunity arise. Definitely would recommend staying here

They have the beast breakfast in Port Elgin and big selection . I been having breakfast there for 25 years and it's gets better every year. Great staff and service. There daily specials are well priced and big portions. Great Sunday morning family place to go.

Went in for breakfast on Good Friday, a very popular place. So the food must be good, and it was! Their breakfast special was delicious and watching some of the other plates coming out, the skillet meals will have to be on our list to try next time. Unbelievable looking and the portion size is unreal. We were not rushed... More
