From the outside, it looks like a standard lunch counter, and inside the decor is "granny's tea room," but this is a gourmet-quality restaurant based on our dinners. My wife's prime rib was uniquely grilled like a steak and was absolutely delicious; my cajun pasta had chicken and shrimp in perfectyly al dente penne with a wonderful sauce. If you're... More

We went to Crofter's for dinner at the suggestion of the Holiday Inn staff. We wondered when we pulled up at the unassuming building in a strip mall. But we were pleasantly surprised at the nice decor inside and great food. I had their specialty - prime rib. Not what I was expecting - it was a charbroiled steak that... More

I ordered the prime rib special with bacon wrapped scallops for my entree and lobster stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. My husband ordered the baked seafood casserole and bacon wrapped scallops for his appetizer. We couldn't taste the scallops because the bacon used to wrap them was flavored with something very sweet. The mushroom appetizer came with 4 mushrooms but... More

Spent a rainy week in Nova Scotia and ate twice at Crofters. Best haddock ever. Servers were friendly and quick. Music was Celtic. Just what I was looking for. Don't miss it;

Went here as it had such good reviews. Our steak was not sirloin the plate was poorly presented and the staff didn't seem bothered about our concerns. Don't bother with this establishment, there are plenty of others around of higher quality

Late review from our visit. We had asked the front desk of a location to eat and given this place as one. We were very satisfied with out steak meals. Service with a small wait when we arrived - with no reservation, it wasn't long till a table opened. We had a very good server, food delivered in a reasonable... More

Boring, average food. Overcooked porches salmon, "garlic" mash potatoes had no garlic flavor, stir-fried veggies overlooked. Bacon on "Caesars salad" was not Caesars dressing. It's the way the waitress presented "would you like tea" ... Since it was included in the special ... Didn't know I was paying extra for "flavored tea" and the ice cream scoop on the pie.... More

Not much curb appeal from the front - we almost drove by to go somewhere else but so glad we stopped here. The food was great and very well priced. We had 2 large rib eye steaks with bacon wrapped scallops and calamari to start for just over $60 including drinks!

Not a place we go often, however stopped for super on Sunday in December. Yes the decor is dated, but clean and well laid out. Service was excellent. Fish and chips was ample and hot. Fish was fresh, and tasty. Wife had pasta and flavor was good (Sauce was a bit thin, but good). For a quick supper I have... More
