We always eat at the Mull when we are in Mabou. The staff are always friendly and we never had anything that wasn't worth while having again. The seafood chowder is filled with lots of fresh seafood and the fresh home made pie is a must .It is always our go to place to go for great meal and to... More

We were driving the Celidh Trail and hadn't seen many restaurants, so pulled into the Mull when we saw it. It was a bit past lunch time. We were allowed to choose our table (chose a table in the back room with lots of windows) and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Our order was taken quickly, and we both ordered a... More

Every year (at least two or three times) we stop at this restaurant after a long hike on one of the many Mabou trails. Our favourite is the seafood chowder - it is the best we have had on Cape Breton. It is chocked full of seafood (rather than potatoes as many others are). the portion looks small for the... More

You wouldn't think a place this good would simply be standing where it is. Very unassuming; but the quality and the pride in the food is unquestionably high.

I've had the fish and chips which is my favourite here. Also the quesadilla is good and the poutine. The milkshakes are amazing. You must treat yourself. I love sitting in the back room that is surrounded in Windows. The front step is the cutest spot to sit and drink a coffee and the owners dog and cat are usually... More

A nice quiet restaurant that I actually had choices. For vegans they can make a yummy Quesadilla just remember to ask for no cheese. And my husband had a poutine with mozza sticks. He ate all his mozza sticks but couldn't finish his poutine.

This is a favourite of ours - we visit Mabou at least 2-3 times a year and always have a late lunch after hiking or visiting the beach. Today we even went out of our way to drive here from Inverness when we couldn't find a place to eat that we liked. The seafood chowder is always good and the... More
