Charming location adjacent to a pond, and a folk art carver! Fabulous pit stop. A must. I came here with my kids and they loved it, too. They even have gluten free sweets. Score!

What a funky and fun café! No other real espresso for 45 minutes drive, plus it's worth a visit just to take on the ambiance and associated businesses and gallery next door. Highly recommended if you appreciate drinking non instant coffee!

We had breakfast here one morning, before continuing on a tour of Cheticamp and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The pastries and fresh fruit were delicious; lovely welcoming atmosphere. There's some great folk art available to buy too. We had the honour of meeting artist William Roach.

We stopped for a really good latte and the shop had beautiful local art. ONLY local art. It was charming. There were also local children's books which we bought and have given to our grandchildren. Really excellent place.

Skip by any chain and head to this place when you need a coffee or tea on the Cabot Trail. They do a great chai latte (same brand that Starbucks uses) and have home made baked goods. The seating area is actually beside a frog pond!! There's also a store full of custom folk art and craft pieces from local... More

We really look forward to well crafted coffee drinks so we stopped here. Cappuccino was creamy and pretty good but not the best we had on Cabot trail (that was in Baddeck). The treats we got here were the star. The cranberry scone was delicious, not too dry, and nicely tart with the scattering of almonds on top. My favorite... More

We stopped here for coffee and pastries before a round of golf. The pastries are homemade and great. A variety of coffee beverages are available. All in all, a great place to stop when on the road.

I was very impressed with this cute little cafe which had a roofed terrace beside a frog pond. If I was a local, I would be there all the time! The lemonade was delicious, the coffee was good, and boardgames were available to play for free. Also, there was a nice art gallery full of nice paintings, wood carving, and... More

Came by in the morning by chance and enjoyed the best Latte I've ever had! A simple brewed coffee I am told was also amazing! If you just drive by… You definitely would be missing out on a wonderful experience. Great people, wonderful ambience and a very quirky art gallery where you can take home a piece of Cape Breton.
