We visited the high wheeler for a quick lunch before a recent wedding. The sandwiches are all made on home made bread fresh to order. Great selection, loads of options , quick and very tasty!

Friendly, fast, and great selections including gluten free, this bakery cafe is beyond wonderful. The food is fresh, well presented and delicious. It is so good you may have to wait in line for a bit but it is well worth your wait.

We had a great breakfast here. The staff were very helpful in letting us change things. The coffee was delicious and so was the food. We picked up some cookies and treats to bring along but it was hard to choose because of the variety. The lunch things looked delicious too. You order at the cash and your food/coffee is... More

We stopped here for lunch before we left Baddeck and we didn't regret it. $15 for a veggie wrap with soup and my husband got a good BLT sandwich with salad. You MUST try the maple vinaigrette on the salad. It was so good I drank it from the side bowl! Also their selection of baked goods will leave your... More

Returned for seconds of their quinoa - black bean and many other ingredients, salad. Large and delicious! Also loved the salmon bagel sandwich very much. Also loved our apple cranberry scone and a giant Granola-chocolate-rice krispie treat. Appreciated friendly staff very much.

We ate breakfast here two days in a row since it was so good. The staff were very friendly and it just made an excellent start to the day. I had the fruit and scone combo and the food was delicious. I sometimes find scones a bit heavy but these were first class.

Breakfast was yummy and the staff were super friendly, efficient, and appreciative. Grabbed some shortcake cookies for the road and were blown away.

I will eat anything, but I didn't like either sandwich we got. Tried the Highwheeler and the Rueben, both on rye. $10 each, no pickle, no chips, no like.
