We stopped in for a sandwich and twice for breakfast. It was a very busy stop especially for the tour bus people. We tried the Reuben and the Cuban sandwiches and they were just what we needed. Nice selection.

We stopped in to pick up box lunches for our trip to the Cabot Trail. Sandwiches are huge and fresh made. We also got a couple of cranberry scones...a wise decision since they were melt in your mouth.

Fresh, fresh, fresh. Tasty and lots on offer. Wonderful smells of baked goods - would have liked one of everything!

Lots of healthy breakfast and lunch options and the cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had. I'm only sad I didn't buy any to bring home!

After a dearth of any good coffee, stopped here and just the sound of the espresso machine made our hearts glad. Had yummy coffees and pastries, so glad we found this place on our Canada road trip

I ate here twice during my 9-day stay in Cape Breton. It seemed to be one of the few restaurants in Baddeck that served bacon and eggs. However, it would be nice to include fruit and vegetables with the bacon and eggs, and to also...More

For fresh made sandwiches to order and very tasty soups, the High Wheeler is a great spot. You can also pick up fresh bread (the porridge bread is not to be missed!). A great place to grab lunch or pick up a picnic lunch for...More

They're open from May thru October. In 2015, I'm pretty sure they opened the last weekend of April (around 4/28). They normally stay open in October until the Sunday after (Canadian) Thanksgiving. If you have a Facebook... More
