Liked this restaurant so much that we ate here for lunch and dinner. Sat on the patio (on obviously a great sunny day). For lunch, split a HUGE yummy Reuben sandwich. At dinner, enjoyed the local Jost-Cabernet Marechal Foch red wine--EXCELLENT red wine blend!! So much so, I took a pic of the menu entry to try to find it... More

Staff were friendly, restaurant was clean, but food was not very special. Chowder had lots of fish but just didn't taste good - watery and bland. Kid friendly food available.

Nice views of the water, but we found the food and service to be ordinary. There are few menu options if you don't want seafood.

We went for dinner and found the service slow and the meal mediocre. The seafood chowder was very heavy on the salmon and the cajun chicken was dry. The place was busy but it seemed they didn't have enough staff that evening.

$52 for a lobster dinner. In a place where lobster is supposed to be in abundant supply. The chowder is average with mostly fish and potatoes. Service is good, but it is an over priced place to have a meal for the family.

Everything was fabulous from beginning to end! Mussels were perfect, chowder was to die for and the lobster was as it should be!! The lights went out and the servers and management made sure we were comfortable until the end of the meal! Very impressed with the entire evening! Definitely will be back!

We had a wonderful meal! Truly delicious seafood and excellent service. The view during our meal was amazing with the large windows facing the marina. We would definitely stop in again.

Food was okay, nothing special. I had the crab cakes, which were too spicy for my taste and my husband had the fish tacos, which were good. Services was so-so. Took a while for someone to come take out orders. Price of food seemed a little high to me.

Baddeck is a decent little tourist town with several restaurants. We tried the Bell-Buoy for lunch and were quite satisfied. Even on a Monday they were busy. The menu is routine Maritime options and we went with the crab cakes and lobster sandwich with chowder. All were tasty, particularly the meaty chowder. We also enjoyed watching harbor activity from our... More

This was such a treat! The owner decided when his son's friend had a severe peanut and tree nut allergy to make his restaurant totally peanut and tree nut free! We have never had this experience before. We did not have to worry about what we ordered and we could have dessert. Homemade! It was delicious and worry free!
