If season lobster is $39 then have the balls to state it up front. View was perfect, service no issues, my wife's salmon was perfect. The reason we did not go up the street was more selection. My god the mussels were great.

Not too impressed with this restaurant. While the location and service was good the small portions of fish served was very disappointing. I am not a big eater and generally don't finish a meal but I did at Bell-Buoy. Fish is so plentiful in Nova Scotia that there's no excuse for such skimpy portions.

Pleasant enough but the atmosphere of the place felt very rushed . Servers practically running between tables and the kitchen /bar area . Being in Cape Breton and surrounded by water, we expected more of the simple fish supper and perfunctory service.

We went to this restaurant because we knew one of the servers but I was surprised at the quality of the dining experience. We all really enjoyed our meal and then the deserts! OMG. Homemade ice cream and gingerbread. This will be my go to restaurant in Baddeck. They really care about their guests.

As for a table by the window and enjoy sipping some wine while you watch the sailboats flit across the lake. The fish chowder is light and delicious. The crabcakes are also wonderful. A great restaurant for lunch or dinner.

I had lunch here. Excellent mussels and a sort of lobster salad sandwich. My companion had mussels and fish n chips and liked his meal very much. Mine was good, I think I am figuring out that if I am going to pay for lobster, it ought to be in the shell so I can really taste it. Staff were... More

We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing lunch and the great views overlooking the bay. The staff were friendly and helpful with information regarding the town.
