Decided to have dinner at Lynwood Inn after spending a day driving the Cabot Trail. Victorian charm with lots if history in downtown Baddeck, the Lynwood Inn offers a nice menu to choose from. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was tasty and quite filling. Would recommend highly.

We ate a few times at this restaurant while staying at the Lynwood Inn. We enjoyed our meals and were especially happy with the service. The servers were attentive, friendly, and accomodating. Two of the staff were family members of the owners and they were well trained to deal with the public. If we get to attend Celtic Colours next... More

We went for a beer and a snack and were happy with the service and the food. Later we went for supper. It's a popular place so we had to wait. Perhaps it was a busy night but the vegetables were not cooked and the fish had a weird coating on it. It was trout and didn't need the coating.... More

My friend and I had a wonderful dinner severed by the daughter of the Lynwood Inn. The service was friendly, the food excellent and we were both very pleased.

We were looking for a good breakfast place that wasn't a buffet and kinda stumbled onto the Lynwood Inn. What a great find. We ordered standard fare - eggs, sausage, hash browns and all of it was good. But best of all was our waitress. We didn't catch her name (married to a Canadian Mountie and part time), but her... This is an absolute eye catching place. Historic Inn, Outdoor lighting & ambiance really beautiful. Live music on the deck where we enjoyed the BEST fish & chips EVER!! Our waiter, Andrew was attentive, timely & friendly ( I mean SINCERE friendly) The location is perfect set back but on the main corner. Large deck w. many great seating choices.... More

My party of four went here for a late breakfast before leaving the Baddeck area. The food was excellent (I have never seen more hollandaise on Eggs Benedict), the coffee kept flowing and the service was friendly, timely and on point. I would have loved to sample a meal in the evening as well but as we were leaving there... More

Wide variety of seafood plus sandwiches and a wide range of non-seafood selections. Try the salmon with maple chili glaze or the fish cakes.

We both chose to have fish, with mashed potato and vegetables. The haddock & the trout were cooked well, and tasted delicious. The mashed potato was also a treat, as we hadn't seen it offered on many menus. However the meal was let down by undercooked vegetables (carrots & broccoli) and the sauce came in a plastic pottle on the... More

Stopping at Lynwood Inn for breakfast was one of those spur of the moment things, as we had originally intended to grab a quick bite at one of Baddeck’s little cafes. Frankly, we were apprehensive that a classy place like the Lynwood would charge too much for a simple breakfast and might even be a bit too stuffy for comfort.... More
