Walking in is a time shift back to the show Green Acres. Service is ok. Now for the food. I love fresh cooked bacon with just a hint of grease not mummified dried out bacon. The steak reminds me of over cooked burnt spam, tasteless and not a few very good quality of beef. The highlight of our breakfast was... More

Very good down home food and hospitality. Eclectic decor, friendly locals, a true country store with a little bit of everything. The food came from the kitchen quickly and our server was very friendly and efficient. I even got an extra piece of pie because her colleague "mis-cut the pie". I'll be back.

A store that has snacks, food, gas, bakery items and few other things. We grabbed a few snacks before heading to Maine.

Some of the best home cooking in Atlantic Canada. Great little gift shop, and huge variety of snacks, all under one roof.

We were staying in a very nice B&B in Oak Bay, New Brunswick and since it was close to dinner, we asked the owner to recommend a good local restaurant. He gave us many suggestions and an excellent area map. However, since we just completed a long drive to Oak Bay; we decided that we wouldn’t drive to St Stephen... More

My friend and I traveling on motorcycles going to nova Scotia from Oakville. Very impressed with service and quality of food served. Beautiful dicor and atmosphere there. We have met a beautiful waitress Stacey wearing an awesome red top. A fluke on our way back from our trip, my friend almost ran out of gas and we ended up there... More

I wasn't overly impressed with my first visit to the Red Rooster, which is especially disappointing as it had come highly recommended. I had to beg the server to take my order and bring over a coffee after I sat for thirty minutes without so much as a menu, and it was close to 45 minutes later before my food... More

Returning from a bus trip to Bangor Maine, we cleared Canada Customs and stopped in at the Red Rooster for breakfast. I'd heard so many good things about this place from previous trips and was looking forward to a good home cooked breakfast. What a disappointment. My travel partner and I waited for 20 minutes to get a menu, only... More

This is not a fancy place - basically a cafe off the highway, but i think it is pretty good for what it is. We got there for lunch after about 5 hours in a car (with about 4 to go) so we were pretty hungry. Even so we enjoyed the meal. First the place was spotless, a good sign.... More
