This is one of the better places to eat on short notice in Comox. The seaside view is well matched by the décor and general layout. The food was good, but feel short of the "high end" expectation we had. It was tasty but perhaps not as inspired as it might have been.

I ate at the Blackfin for the first time last week. It's really busy at lunch time, best to get there a bit before noon if possible for best seating. I had seafood cakes and a small spinach salad -- each were very tasty and not too much food. The view over the marina is also very picturesque. We were... More

One of the best spots to go if your out with a group of people. I've had lots of work luncheons here. Fantastic view, great food and friendly staff.

We had a very pleasant dinner at the Blackfin. It was our first visit. The menu was very interesting and somewhat eclectic. Naturally they offer a number of seafood dishes and a variety of others including beef, pasta and salads. The wine and beer list was quite good and reasonably priced. The seafood chowder was excellent. Unfortunately there were no... More

I came here with my boyfriend and friends for my birthday dinner and I wasn't disappointed at all. We made a reservation for 8 pm and made it just in time to watch the sunset. We all tried different foods and drinks and loved all of them. They have a large food and drink menu so there is a lot... More

A very busy restaurant for a Tuesday night. As the waitress said, " You've got good timing", when we asked about getting a seat on the patio. A wide variety on the menu. Our food was excellent and the service was good.

The Blackfin, a "must visit" in the Comox Valley. The blue ocean and views of snow capped peaks stimulate the palette.

Went to eat some mussels I and had a couple of beers outside on the deck. You can view the harbour of Comox and enjoy the sun on the deck pretty much all afternoon and evening. This day we had a nice view of the glacier as well. Food was very well prepared and service was great. Recommended. It will... More

My friend and I chose the Blackfin Pub for an evening dinner before going to the airport. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather and the view. Stella was on tap and good. Service was friendly. The food was tasty and came quickly, though we did have to ask separately for salsa. The only hitch was though reservations... More
