I was there as part of a retreat and we didn't stop eating! The food was amazing and everyone with dietary issues was accommodated in abundance! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and each was delicious (and there was a lot of food)! Best Birchermuesli ever!

We went to the logpile lodge for the first time with friends. We were excited after all the great reviews. The location is 10 minutes outside of Smithers, the property is beautiful. The restaurant itself is small a quaint. The food was very good. It's served buffet style. We really enjoyed our experience but found it to be very expensive... More

This restaurant is a bit of a drive fro Smithers, but worth the trip. Run by a Swiss family. The cuisine and service have been excellent every time I have eaten here. Not always open to drop-in's and closed part of the year, so call before you make the trip.

A friend took me here when I was visiting town recently. She had tried to make a reservation but they were full, but fortunately we got a call saying there was a last minute cancellation. It's my understanding they are currently only open Thursday - Sunday, but it wouldn't surprise me if that changed for the summer. Regardless it seems... More

We recently returned from 2 separate trips to Smithers and stayed both times at the Logpile Lodge. We had read the amazing reviews about the food and so made sure that we had reservations for their Friday and Saturday night Dinners on both trips. All dinner experiences were wonderful! They are served buffet style with an assortment of salads, prime... More

It was a beautiful yet quaint dining room with a beautiful view. There was a buffet meal that was very nicely cooked and a fantastic dessert. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was a nice quiet place to go and celebrate. Quite possibly the most romantic restaurant in Smithers, yet still comfortable for groups and families. You do have... More

Chris is an excellent cook and Barbara is an excellent host. In addition they're very personable folk who pay attention to even the smallest detail in order to make your meal a memorable one. Book ahead.
