we came to the sunhine coast for our first gateway since covid. Lighthouse pub was our first stop, the view is amazing!!!! Our server was made us feel like home so friendly and knowledgeable. Big portions, did not leave hungry! Thank you for the great...experienceMore
We went to this pub with friends and family. Service was not great and with all the culprit restrictions it was okay but it has great potential to be so much better. Right on the water and the marina . If things ever get right...in this world again I'm hopeful that this place will turn aroundMore
Terrible customer service.
It took 5 minutes to get seated when we were the only ones waiting.
Then the hostess tossed the menus on the table and walked away.
We looked at the menu and waited almost 10 minutes before we left with no servers...even coming to take our order.
Stay away from this place.More
Every staff member was wearing a mask at all times, they wiped down all the tables thoroughly, great social distancing. Food was excellent and staff were very friendly. Wrong order was brought to table, but waitress apologized profusely and took 25% off our bill which...was a welcome and very considerate surprise. Would highly recommend!More
we were a pa party of 5 t hat went for dinner last wknd. We were kept waiting to be seated, to order drinks, and receiver our drinks... I went in search of a server to enquire about our drinks several minutes before they arrived....After waiting in excess of 20 mins to have our food orders taken I went in search, one more time, of a server only to be told they were very busy and she would get there as soon as she could.
When she finally arrived we asked what the hold up was, we were informed that 'due to covid' they only had half the amount of servers and kitchen staff on so service was very slow. We asked why we were not informed of this on our arrival or indeed why was the whole restaurant open if they were only operating at half capacity..... our answer was .... to leave..... Yup we were all thrown out because the server was offended we had to go look for her.... This is my 3rd visit to this pub and on all 3 occasions we have had a long wait for service but nothing like this and we have never been thrown out before!! If you have to go here pls ask before you are seated if they have enough staff to serve you....More
Fantastic setting on the sechelt inlet . Great views of the marina , ocean and mountains . We actually sat outside while watching the hockey game . Great choice of local beers on tap and usual pub menu with more focus on seafood . My...seafood curry was delicious .More
Went there for lunch, wanted the fish & chips, unfortunately they were out of Halibut. Having said that , the Cod fish batter was very light & crunchy with a nice flaky fish delighting your palate. The chips were fresh & nice, enjoyed that. The...coleslaw was blah... not enough dressing. The seafood chowder was so yummy... lots of clams with huge pieces of salmon... . View was fantastic!
Covid protocol was great, they are wiping down the laminated menus, servers are wearing mask. After each table is done, they wipe down the chairs, arm rest & table. They cleaned all high touch areas. Felt very safe!More
