had an excellent roast beef. salad, plus broccoli, roast potatoes, 1/2 corn on cob, (yorkshire pudding, too, but not the best) great slab of med rare prime rib and washed it all down with a great and refreshing med-dark ale on tap. one of the hottest and best horseraddish sauces ever. great outdoor adult patio by the old tracks, and... On the planning of our trip this was one of the destination stops and it lived up to the expectations. The whole family enjoyed their dinners. Service was great .

The station felt like any local neighbourhood pub, which we loved. The best part however, was the vegetarian options! They had the regular pub affair, but as the town has a large vegetarian community they also had veggie meatloaf, veggie burger, and veggie quesadillas at a lower price than the ones that contained meat. As a vegetarian this was an... More

Service was quick. The starter Caesar salad was quite good. My entrée was awful. The pork schnitzel was soggy and tasteless. The roasted potatoes were obviously old and had a weird flavor and color. The vegetables all tasted the same. I could tell the waitress new when she came to pick up my plate as there was no offer of... More

Visited the Station on Sunday for lunch and had good pub food at a fair price. Sitting on the platform of an old railway station was a treat on a warm Sunday afternoon. There are many historical items displayed on the walls leading to the upstairs dining area. We were served efficiently by a pleasant young lady from New Zealand.... More

Based on a local recommendation, we tried the Station. Their vegetarian selections were fairly typical (veg burg, quesadilla, salad...) with the exception of the vegetarian loaf which tasted like a "stuffing loaf". We were fed, but not necessarily satisfied (I have lowered expectations for vegetarian options in small towns). Our biggest disappointment was the service... our youngish waitress simply didn't... What a great little spot just a couple blocks of the highway. The building oozes history and character, the service quick and friendly and the food was excellent. If you love Borscht you will love theirs. Also had the wings, very good. Overall a great experience.

The forte of the Station is appetizers. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. Entrees were not as outstanding. I appreciated they were quick to accomodate a table of 9 with three young kids. We ended up in a room by ourselves with a door - dreamy when containing a toddler.

My husband and I go to the station pub ocasionally for date night. I love the ceasers here. They are spicy with a decent garish of pickles, pickled onions and spicy peppers. Their honey garlic wings are delicious with plenty of sauce. Service is great downstairs in the pub.
