First visit to Coombs, was impressed with the market and found a nice place to sit down to have lunch @ the Coombs ice cream parlour. Which turned out to be the worst mistake of the day. Ordered a salmon burger at the price of 13.95 and a bacon Swiss burger at the price of 11.95. Everything was good until... More

Coombs is a destination for us with all of our company, when they are visiting us here on the island. Recently went to the ice cream parlour for the first time. Nice decor, great selection of ice creams, cones or bowls. Lots of seating, and information available for anyone looking to learn more about the area offerings.

Coombs Ice Cream Parlour is a charming up-scale ice-cream patio cafe. Much more relaxing than the frenzied location that used to be in the Coombs Market. Lovely to sit on the patio, eat generous portions of ice-cream, people watch & cool off on a hot day.

I love Coombs icecream and I buy one every time I go. They give you a huge portion for a relatively cheap price and the selection of flavours is amazing. Yes it is busy but if you are patient you'll easy catch a server and get a delicious treat. A must go if you're in Coombs! I can't praise it... More

The ice cream parlour has new home in Coombs market. The new purpose built building has a wide open outdoor terrace, with sun & shade! Ideal for 'people watching' and hanging out while eating ice cream, or waiting for people who are shopping across the way. Similar to it's old location there are many ice cream flavours (49 or more)... More

Lots of flavors to choose from! Large serving sizes for the cost, and they move people through quickly and are really friendly!

Not sure what the problem was but the ice cream cone that I bought here was funny tasting and not what I expected. I ordered a chocolate peanut butter flavour, which seemed almost sugar free or something. Whatever it was, it wasn't sweet like a regular ice cream should be. Of note, they ask you to pay at one end... More

The ice cream selection here is epic and the quality is great. We wandered around Qualicum Beach and Parksville to try and find some ice cream and ended up coming back here as everything else was sub-par in comparison. It is of course possible that I missed a good spot in one of those towns but regardless I'd make the... More

So many choices, nice new building. Small portions, we don't need a lot but are used to getting a little more than we did when we order small for the kids. Sounds strange to say when ordering the small but it was really small. Cool atmosphere in Coombs.

Yes, this is a lovely place to go for an ice cream, gelato or coffee. There is a lovely patio to sit on while you enjoy your treat.
