Place and staff were Nice, but the menu has pictures that don't correspond to what you actually get.

First of all, they did not bring all food together, by the time they bring on my plate, the other finished their meals. Really bad serving. Pricy compared to other restaurants. We ask for warm milk for kind they had bing it boiled milk, did not apologise and give back a rude answer in broken English. Never again here.

Good food with Unappealing staff. Lamb and chicken stacks are good in the suitable location but the staff don't have the pleasent behavior.

The menu has some pictures that don't correspond to what you actually get. That is disappointing!!! Portions are quite small compared to other restaurants in the area and pricey. Additionally you have to order side dishes. The food was nothing special all the contrary. Very boring. The live music could be nice if the band would sing more atmosphere music.... More

Finding a good place to eat in Golden Sands is difficult by itself and this restaurant is not making it easier. It's average in so many ways: the service (not very pleasant, nor are they rude), the menu (it's huge, which means most of it is microwaved) and the atmosphere (some nice live music, but the noise from neighbouring restaurants... We first ate here 13 years ago when we first visited Golden Sands and the food was tasty and good value. We returned last night for the first time since then, to relive old memories and also because the reviews on trip advisor seemed to indicate that the food was still good. We were hugely disappointed and felt like we'd... More

We always visit this restaurant when we are in Golden Sands. We think this is the best in Golden Sands. Very good food, and all the people working there are very nice. When we go back in September, this will be the first place we will visit.

The view is amazing. The food as well. The only problem is that it's a little bit crowded if you're a group of more than 6, as we were. They said that there are menus in romanian but the language was so funny...I have no problem with English but my parents are a little bit wonky at it so we... More

Place and staff were nice. However, chateaubriand served with frozen pea, corn, carrot mix was not really how you want it..

The restaurant has a central location on the pedestrian promenade overlooking of the sea /within 2 minutes walking from the well known hotel "Admiral".

Restaurant "The Old House" combines authentic Bulgarian atmosphere of a traditional house with a beautiful patio where fresh organic vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown. There are many places for outdoor seating around a landscaped courtyard. Inside the venue there is a large dining space furnished with traditional wooden furniture. On the other side of the house there is a spacious terrace with beautiful sea views.
The restaurant serves up the most traditional Bulgarian dishes prepared according to old recipes - traditional sac platters, various stews and dishes in clay pots /kavarma, kapama and others/, tasty appetizer dips/as Aubergine sauce (kiopolu) and tomato chutney (liutenitsa)/, homemade bread, grilled meats and refreshing salads. Every evening a whole lamb/pork and chicken/ is roasted on a spit on fire the so called Cheverme /one of the trademarks of the Bulgarian cuisine/.
The above delicacies are usually consumed with a glass of good wine. The Bulgarian wines are famous for their superb taste. Another popular alcoholic beverage in the country is the rakia /made from grapes, plum, pears or other fruites/.

Every evening a gypsy orchestra takes care of cheerful mood. The orchestra performs music of different styles, languages that will satisfy even the most delicate desires of the guests of the restaurant.
