McLean's Ole Time Cafe is a family owned restaurant opened in 1956, over 60 years ago. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and also offer catering. We have a large banquet space for rentals also. Our foods are homemade "country cooking" with something for everyone. In addition to our menu, we have daily specials, senior breakfast specials and military/police discounts. We have some outdoor seating and you can also enjoy rocking a spell out on our porch. McLean's is a great place to meet your friends from surrounding areas! We also do specialty cakes, pies, cookies and our well-loved chocolate dipped strawberries. Come by and see us!

This restaurant is rather large and spacious inside. Tables are spaced and all staff are masked. We had lunch specials and iced tea. My wife had the buffalo chicken lunch with 2 sides. I had the grilled chicken breast and 2 sides (actually ordered the...pork chops and got chicken instead, my second choice). The most excellent waitress brought biscuits and hush puppies. The lunch was well prepared, hot and tasty. Biscuits were pretty good. Hush[puppies were better. Not all guests wore masks as posted. Overall I would return. My bill for the both of us was 25.50 plus tip.More

Had a fabulous breakfast at McLean's OLE Time Cafe. Breakfast was so good that we returned for dinner that same evening. Breakfast consisted of yummy blueberry pancakes with perfectly cooked bacon. Our server was excellent even though the restaurant was busy for a Friday morning....There were 4 of us for breakfast. We met up with 4 other family members and returned for dinner, total of 8. We ordered 2 baskets of hush puppies along with our meals. Everyone was satisfied and happy with their order. The six year old ate a plate of spaghetti, one strand at a time.More

We stopped here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and they were quite busy. We were seated quickly and our drinks arrive before I returned the ladies room. Husband had the meatloaf sandwich which was very thick and I had the pulled pork that was...also quite thick and shared an order of french fries. We had trouble finishing our lunch.More

The soup and salad bar was delicious. We also had the fried chicken fingers and they were hot, moist and juicy. The food and atmosphere Is great. I was disappointed in the service. We had empty beverage cups most of our meal. The table next...to us kept holding his empty cup in the air and no one noticed. He had to get up and walk over to a server. Our ticket never came, we ended up just walking to the register. The cashier never asked how our meal or service was.More

It's true, this restaurant features local favorites. However, I found it pricey for what's provided. The portions are generous, but they think their salad bar is made out of gold.

Most places have decaf anymore and given the style of this establishment, they would have this.
