We are new to the area and decided to try out Sanjose. The decor is nice despite being in a strip mall setting. The service staff were all friendly. In terms of food and drink, we ordered fresh guacamole which never showed up (but was...on the bill initially). We did get a brief apology, although the manager didn't bother to come over and say anything despite having to approve the change in the bill! The margarita was very weak compared to other restaurants (Millionaire Margarita I think it was called). The salsa, on the other hand, was quite tasty. I got the beef fajitas which were average/good. My wife got fish tacos of some sort and she said they were good. All in all, we will return since it is local, but wish it was a notch or two better!More

Good food, very nice atmosphere...love the margaritas. Big screen in bar. Have been a few times now and liked it each time.

Meh. Not the worst and not the best. My food was very salty and greasy. Staff were nice, but food was not memorable.

Would give it no stars if allowed. Went tonight and was embarrassed in front of my kids by the Management over a Groupon that was still valid but they refused to honor. They claimed they haven't honored them since February. Redeemed one 3 weeks ago...and showed the redeemed voucher to prove it. Person who redeemed it, Juan, came to the table and lied to my face saying he didn't do it. The Asst Manager claims she would have had to pay out of her pocket if she honored. I felt bad for her. It's always been great food, but the same waiter that lied to me tonight, has always treated us extremely poorly. Rude, even. Their younger servers are super nice. I'm a local resident and was a steady customer, probably twice a month, but after tonight, this place is out for me. I will never go back and will take my business elsewhere. What a shame the way this place is run.More

Place has gone down hill! I DO NOT usually do reviews but...We ordered our usual but picked up and brought back home! Not only was the order wrong, I ordered the chic and cheese quesadilla but got a soft taco, my son ordered an $11...item and got ACP. The food was cold, but no going to complain too much about that since it traveled. But that salsa, OMG! WORST EVER! It tasted like tomato sauce out of a can, no other flavor to it at all! I have never gotten salsa from there or any other restaurant with that consistency or taste! I love Mexican, and loved coming here because its close to home but will not choose this place again! $50 went in the trash!More

Food is always good and service is usually good as well. Average value for your money for a Mexican restaurant.

The waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was great and very full filling. Went with friends for her birthday.

This place use to be better. I called in a order for carnitas tacos and they are the worst I've ever had!!! There was barely any meat on them, one taco had one piece of meat!!! Another taco had meat so hard on it that...I thought I was eating a bone! There was so much lettuce and cilantro I had to take it off. No tomatillo sauce. And this costed me $13. Highly disappointed!More

Food is good, appealingly presented and served quickly. Servers are attentive but do not hover. Beverage offerings are more than adequate
