We visited in late June and enjoyed perfect sauteed scallops and some of best okra we ever ate! The chef is a master! We'll return whenever we're in Wrightsville beach

Half the building is a restaurant, half is a bar. But the food is always fresh, posted on a chalkboard with a limited menu. We had a salad and scallops and they were both delicious. Location in in Wrightsville Beach just a block from the ocean.

My wife and I stopped by this evening for dinner. We weren't sure what to expect, but what we ended up with was outstanding food and great service. We enjoyed the Goat Cheese Meatballs, Oyster and Artichoke Stew, Shrimp and Grits, and the Bacon Wrapped OBX Scallops. All were top notch. One minor complaint is that depending on where you're... First time in this restaurant, hard to find a parking spot, they have some next to the building but it is limited. The food was great and the service was terrific. Limited menu but very good. All the food that we had was great. The clam chowder has a different twist, it has some kick, very flavorful and you can... More

Worth a two hour drive from Cary to eat here. Friendly chef, Shrimp and grits, bacon wrapped scallops... Key lime pie. Top notch.

I've been in years past and really enjoyed it. The constantly changing menu is fun. We met another couple for catching up, but it seems the kitchen runs out of the good stuff too often. I wanted the sea bass mac n cheese because I've never had sea bass I didn't like. Anyway, when I ordered it the server told... More

The Good: Unique twists for usual seafood fare. My shrimp and grits were the best i have ever had. Partly because the grits were fortified with small tomato slices and herbs and seasoned shrimp that made me salivate! My wife's catch of the day Grouper came across with a mild citrus flavor that was memorable. The bartender also mixed up... More

The food was excellent. Shrimp and grits, scallops wrapped in bacon, even the alligator appetizer was good. Though the menu varies and is limited by blackboard options daily, the variety was plenty enough to suit our group of 8 picky restaurant goers. The service was great. I would have given it 5 stars except for the surrounds - the decor... More

So the woman and I stumbled upon this little restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. We were a little shocked when the lady brought us the menu, which was a big chalkboard. We thought this was just the specials for the night but no, it was the entire menu. There were only about 5-6 entree choices so that... More

What this place lacks in ambiance it makes up with food. The menu is written daily with the chefs creation. We have been here a few times for date night and never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the service is great. Only issue is the college bar like atmosphere in the back that doesn't match the cuisine.
