We ventured to King Neptune's tonight on a recommendation. When we first walked in we almost turned back. The décor is shabby but the wait staff overcame it. The menu was well worn but the food was great. We had 4 different dinners and 4 different drinks. My wife actually had a good glass of wine for $1.00.....I had the stuffed... More

Walked here from our motel and had the chef's special. Excellent dinner and house wines $1.00 per glass. Really good dinner for 2.

We tried lunch and dinner here several times and found this to be a consistent good seafood place. We tried various fish, clam, scallop and shrimp plates and all were good and served with generous side dishes. For something different try the Hibachi bowl. The Fry Basket with your choices is great for lunch. This place is usually filled with... More

My wife and I came here after an early morning walk on the beach. A local's place that was just as accommodating to visitors like us. We sat at the bar an ordered a tasty breakfast served by a friendly bartender/server. This was our first time to WB and we plan on coming back next summer--and will make King Neptune... More

My complaint is not about the taste of the food, but rather that I broke a tooth on a bone or other hard object in the food. When I reported this to the establishment I initially received a sincere-sounding email from Danny McPherson, the owner, promising to speak with me. However, despite numerous attempts to contact him by email and... More

In looking at the menu online and the prices I expected a much nicer restaurant. We walked into what felt like somewhere you would have beer and wings with your friends. So while the food was good - a nicer atmosphere would have been appreciated.

I stopped by for a quick lunch after spending the morning on the beach. The bartender was very pleasant and quick to serve me. I had the grilled seafood platter which was very good, a tad strong on the seasoning, but very good nonetheless. Unfortunately the clam chowder is no longer available, but the corn and clam bisque is a... More

King Neptune started serving breakfast a couple of years ago and it has become a regular part of our beach trips since then. The grits are incredible, the hash browns scrumptious, and the portions generous, A friend who often visits with us loves the crab omelet. I like the frittata, panini and the breakfast burritos. The service is always prompt... More
