My husband and I went to Rucker Johns on a Wednesday night. It was rather busy and there were lots of help around. We got our water order inside 2 minutes of sitting down. My husband requested a beer menu and that showed up within 1 minute. We knew what we wanted so we ordered the ribs for him and... More

Rucker Johns is close and we go fairly often. Last night I enjoyed the pork chops and my husband had the chicken tenders. Both are favorites. The honey coated croissants are also a treat. They come with the salad but we save them for desert. They run specials at bar during the week which are also good. It's a good... More

Management and staff are always friendly and personable. They often have seasonal specials that are well prepared. They are willing to make changes in the preparation or choice of sides to please me.

My husband and I decided to have dinner out on a Friday night (payday!!) I was going for the spinach salad that Rucker Johns makes and hubby was going to have the ribs, BUT when the waitress told us about the catch of the day.....well we both decided on salmon and catfish. The salmon was seasoned with jerk seasoning and... More

Menu varied, sandwiches and entrees. Salads are exceptionally good served with a honey drizzled croissant. Hot bacon dressing is very unique and delicious Service is consistently good. Half price wine available and live music at an acceptable volume is very enjoyable. We dine out two to three times a week and this restaurant is always on our list.

Nice, but nothing exceptional. Its a small chain, typical bar fare and tv's. If you want a tap beer, don't count on anything exciting. Bud, Bud Light, Mller Lite, Coors, and for the 'microbrew' crowd, Yuengling.

Had lunch with an old friend and as usual Rucker John's was great! I had the Shrimp BLT and she had the Shrimp Wrap. Both were served quickly, looked delicious and tasted awesome. Bacon was cooked just as I like it, crisp but not hard. Order comes with one side and we both had sweet potato fries. Our plates went... More

Though we have eaten at Rucker Johns, both in Winterville and EI for years, our experience there tonight was the epitome of poor customer service. The food was very good so that was not an issue. We are a couple in our 70s. When we arrived at approximately 8:20pm we asked to be seated in a booth. The young lady... More
