You get lots of food and you won’t leave hungry. We love the grilled chicken salad. We get this at least once or twice a week. I also love the veggie plate. Thursdays, my boss walks in the office and says “Chicken Pot Pie Day”!!! I haven’t had anything bad. The only thing I warn people is the potato salad... More

Been eating here as long as we can remember and usually wonderful. Not sure what happened this time, but we went early at 3:30 and some things seemed old. Had to ask for another baked potato because first one was hard and cold. Hushpuppies were hard and not soft as usual. Slaw was ok, but could be improved. Shrimp and... More

I have been eating here for years. The food here is so good. This is not a fancy restaurant, it is a casual diner with very good everything. The Souvlaki is what I usually order. This is marinated pork served in small pieces with a great Tzatziki Sauce. The chef and owner is Abel. He will come out to your... More

Try the baked spaghetti, or fried founder and you'll be impressed with this small diner in south Winston. Fried shrimp with slaw and hush puppies hard to beat for the price too.

During my trip to Winston Salem we stopped here for dinner in the "outskirts" of town. This was in 1963 !!! As I understand it now, the old place was demolished and rebuilt just a few feet from the old location but with the same basic menu and idea. The food was great back then and it's still great now.... We ate lunch here today and both of us had souvlaki; it was delicious with good tzatziki sauce, which I just love. they're was good but question whether it was made in house, could be wrong; but the souvlaki was so good; they serve it with a shredded salad ( we had Greek dressing, which was yummy) and french fries... As meat and threes go this place is pretty good. Not the best place to get a chef’s salad if you are watching your weight. Mine was chopped lettuce with some bland cold cut ham and turkey on top and not much character but the popcorn shrimp looked great and although the meat loaf was smothered in red sauce of... More

Great family style diner. My wife and i were there for lunch and they were quite busy with plenty of wait staff and lots of food being served. Looks to be a very popular place with the town locals. Food was really good and large servings. Wide variety diner type menu with options for everyone, even gluten free and vegetarian.

By the name we thought it was a drive in. But when we got there we could see that it was wasn't. Oh well, we decided to give it a try. The menu is quite extensive with everything from Greek to Italian to BBQ to American home cooking. Between the four of us we covered the bases with BBQ, a... More
