Stopped here because of all the good reviews. Wife got a Ace Falaffle and I got Sawarma pita or what I would call Gryo. 1st that is not Sawarma, Sawarma is meat on a spit that's been roasting for hours and hours. This is some kind of meat in a vinegar base of some kind (crap). Next I took a... More

I had received glowing reviews from 2 couples so we decided to dine at Mooney's before heading to the Summer on Liberty concert with another couple. The restaurant was empty at 6 p.m. on a Saturday night, but we noticed up the street that King's Crab Shack and the tai restaurant were booming with customers. Our waitress (who had gorgeous... Had dinner here with my daughter on a Saturday evening. It was a bit later so it wasn't crowded at all. The service was very friendly and prompt. The menu was good with plenty of choices. They were out of the tabouli, which was what my daughter wanted. Apparently a big crowd ordered all they had earlier in the day.... More

The food is amazing. I loved the kafta and the falafel. Good service. Very fast. The variety of local beers is good and for 4 dollars. The ingredients as local and they have vegetarian options.

This is my favorite place to dine in Winston. I love the friendly atmosphere and the traditional Lebanese food is to die for. The falafel, the hummus, the tawook - it's all fantastic. Recommended without reservation!!!

I love Mediterranean cuisine, and had high expectations. I am a bit of a food snob, so maybe my opinion is not the best, but I found the taste to be average. As well, I wish that there was ethnic music playing.

In downtown Winston on a Saturday noon a lot of places are closed; this was a freak find for us. We have eaten Lebanese diaspora food from Kuwait through London and Montreal to the US south, and this is about the best value for money. Mezze outstanding. Moussaka (eggplant, chick pea soupy version) great. Nice coffee in insulated pression pots.... More

Consistently delicious food and great service. I've been dozens of times and am never disappointed, it's our go-to place in town.

We love Mooney's! In spite of that, we only get there a few times a year, but we are never disappointed. We brought friends with us on our latest visit and truly enjoyed good company, great food, and a table by the street. As usual, I ordered the sampler platter of Fetoosh (salad), fried cauliflower (the best anywhere, ever), couscous,... More

A Lebanese, family run restaurant in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Serving great pita wraps, fresh ingredients, the best hummus and baba ghanooj around. Open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. Hookahs offered after hours. Belly dancers perform once a month and other live, local entertainment play as well. For dinner try the Steak Frites featuring local grass fed beef from Apple Brandy Farms and off with Krankies Coffee and homemade Baklava ice cream from Blue Ridge Ice Creams.
