Tripps makes a grilled chicken salad that has pecans and fruit in it. There is a house-made Asian dressing that is simply wonderful. If you're not a garlic lover, you can ask to have your freshly-baked bread done without garlic. My go-to place for lunch when in Winston-Salem, NC.

Whenever my husband & I get together with our daughter, son-in-law & grandson son for dinner or to celebrate special occasions, THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE WE DINE! Well, the occasion was our daughter's birthday and when we asked her where to meet for dinner, of course, she mentioned Tripps! Glenda was our server for this occasion and she started... More

My wife and I stop and have a meal at trips every time we're in Winston-Salem North Carolina. On this occasion we stopped with another couple. Our friends shared a large shrimp cocktail with 12 large shrimp which they said was wonderful and the cocktail sauce was very very tasty. They also shared french onion soup which was wonderful. My... Anyone that knows me knows how picky I am about food. And I'm pretty particular about service excellence too. The atmosphere is very relaxing. If you didn't know better you would think you were oceanside in the tropics. I have been going to Tripp's restaurant since I heard of them and they are consistently the BEST food and service I've... Tripps is a solid restaurant. It is good food, good ambiance, good prices, good service. Overall...it is good! If you are looking for great...try somewhere else. But if you are good with good, this is about as good as it gets!

If you go to the bar and Dayna is there, you may think you are in Hooters. She is more interested in leaning over the bar so you can see down to her navel. Tip for Dayna. You get more tips by standing up straight and covering up.

Took hotel shuttle. Was headed to a usual establishment, such as Applebee's. I saw this place as a I glanced over. Was a spur of moment decision. Glad I chose this one. Delicious food and cheap drink. Two thumbs up.

The wait for a Saturday night dinner was not bad. They had very few alcoholic drink choices. The bartender was not the friendliest, but still prompt.the food was very good.

They have a lots of choices on the menu. I had a Southern Chicken salad which was good. The batter on the chicken was bland but good. I would have liked to go back for dinner but we weren't in town long enough. service was so so. I asked for additional salad dressing and after 10 minutes had to get... More
