Great flavors and really fresh! Must try!!! Really just a hole in the wall but worth the trip. They sell wine too! Try the biscotti gelato if they have it!

Delicious home made gelato made by the owner herself. Excellent selection of flavors which changes frequently. My only problem is that I don't get to come as often as I would like.

This quaint shop has been a welcome spot in the West End for a number of years now. With a regular rotation of traditional favorites and more unusual and daring flavors, this little gelato stop is the closest thing I've ever had to the perfection of good European gelato. Heck, it's not close to as good, it IS as good.

Great gelato. Changing and seasonal favors. Some of the best I've had since Italy. Outside seating a plus.

Love this gelato! All of the fruit flavors are lactose free and are so refreshing! The other flavors are amazing as well! The owner is very personable and makes all of the gelato in house with fresh, local ingredients.

I had read all the great reviews about this place and was really disappointed when we gave it a try. They only had about 6 flavors and it tasted like ice cream not gelato. It is very pricey for ice cream. We were in Italy in March and there is no comparison. With that said, the Breyers gelato is more... More

I had had a bad day. Gelato with a friend at a sidewalk table was prescribed as the way to make it all better. When I saw that Pineapple was among the day's offerings, it seemed like perfection. After a taste, I remarked that if I closed my eyes I was sure I would feel tropical breezes and sand between... More

The first time I had gelato it was in the Piazza St. Marco in Venice. I have been passionate about the frozen dessert ever since. Finding a place here in my new home town that makes the best is a real blessing. Try the lemon basil if they have it. The pistachio sweeps me immediately back to Italy. Best sweet... More

Ciska's gelato is nothing short of amazing. Given a choice of dessert at a restaurant or at Cafe Gelato, Cafe Gelato wins every time. Great flavors: Butterscotch was incredible last night. Something unique every visit. If you want something special: ask. They'll text when they make it.

Anyone looking for a different treat to enjoy after a meal or just on it's own should visit Cafe Gelato in Winston-Salem. The gelatos are great with a few unique and delicious flavors along with some tasty standards. The atmosphere is charming, warm and fun. If gelato is not enough for you, there's also some sodas, coffee/espresso and even a... More
