This restaurant is wonderful. Service is friendly and fast. Food is perfectly cooked. It is VERY busy so you may have to wait for a table.

A bit quirky, upscale, a bit spendy. If you want to try the sweet potatoes cheese cake make sure you tell your server asap... They make a limited number of cheese cakes and the slices go FAST! It's worth it to try the collard green appetizer too... I thought I would hate it; but, it's addictive. Plan on spending a... More

Love their food, and the atmosphere was fun! I mostly enjoyed their one of a kind sweat-potato fries! They were to die for. My wife enjoyed one of there mushroom burgers saying it was better than she had tasted in a long while. Only wish I had had room to sample a piece of there sweet-potato pie. Definitely next trip?... Was not aware of what can be done with a sweet potato. I thought my dish was great until my wife shared a bit of hers. Very very good! As mentioned its a small place with the tables packed in but the staff was quick to respond to our needs. Was disappointed when the waitress through away my Lacroix water... More

My wife and I visited Sweet Potatoes while in Winston-Salem for the weekend. We sat at the bar which was great for a fun dinner atmosphere. She had the Oyster PoBoy and I had the Yard Bird. Both were incredible! Great flavors. We finished it off with a Southern Banana Pudding, also amazing. Great date night location.

Off the chain. Best eggs Benedict served on a sweet potato biscuit. Service was a little slow but maybe due to being first service after opening. There will be a line outside waiting when they open at 10 AM on Sundays. Nice friendly staff but let them know up front you'll want water or tea refills

"Changing the world one bite at a time" is their slogan, and the people at Sweet Potatoes want to live up to it! Their menu reveals that they obviously believe dining should involve adventure, and so do I! A friend and I went for lunch around 11:30 on a Saturday morning. We had a bit of trouble finding parking on... More

Loved the jazz music playing in the background. We were seated right away and enjoyed the fried green tomato BLT with side of sweet potato fries. Service was friendly and quick.
