Stopped in for dinner on a recent trip through the area. Place appears to be an old house, so it is very small. On a Monday evening it was first come at bar and outside, so plan accordingly. I ordered the fried chicken with mac & cheese and green beans. Everything was very good and rich! Person with me ordered... More

We stumbled upon Mozelle's for a late night dinner in Winston Salem.. Twinkling lights, patio dining.. Easy to park and the service was wonderful (waiter Christian was awesome)... My 14 year old son had the Shrimp & Grits and I had the Meatloaf.. We kept trying each other's meals and cleaned our plates. Best Grits I have ever tasted and... More

Under the majestic full moon we joined our friends at Mozelle's. We had an outside table and one of the best waiters we've had. Can't recall his name. He was spot on in all recommendations. We had Tuna Tartare and Crab cakes to share as appetizers paired with an excellent bottle of red wine. Conversation was animated and full of... More

Last minute decision to dine at Mozelle's and what a great decision it was. We had just finished a perfect afternoon of wine tasting at a local winery and decided to venture into the city to celebrate a friends birthday. The restaurant was booked but the counter overlooking the kitchen was open and what a perfect spot to see the... More

My wife and I have eaten at Mozelle's on numerous occasions. It's one of those 'go-to' restaurants that you keep in your repertoire for when you want to go out but have difficulty making a decision. Mozelle's is always a solid choice for fresh southern cuisine that never disappoints. A staple on their menu is the boneless, buttermilk fried chicken... More

Collards, creamed Corn, squash casserole- divine. Daydreaming about a bowl of any of these. Timing and service a bit off for such a tiny place- hence not 5 stars. Everything cooked perfectly. Desserts were simply fantastic. Expansion of indoor seating would be a bonus. Thank you.

Great all around southern upscale food. Great service and ambiance. We went for midday lunch. I never rave about collard greens but their sides are phenomenal. The collards with bacon incredible with just enough spicy heat. The squash casserole was excellent. We ordered the crab cakes for an app. Not the traditional fried kind but absolutely delicious. The red snapper... More

Enjoyed a great evening at Mozelle's. Was a last minute decision and ended up eating on a table on the side-walk, it was OK but it would have been better if we could eaten inside (more private and cooler !!). Aside from where we ate, the food was great - started with the spring rolls (nice sauce) followed by the... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Winston-Salem and I go there every chance I get. I have tried most of the things on the menu and am never disappointed. It's fresh, well seasoned food and offers a nice variety of selections from. Usually love to get whatever fish dish they are offering but also love the... More
