The dining choices near the Wilson Amtrak station are limited, but who cares when you have this place! Small town friendliness, delicious food. They have great chicken stew, but they also have jerk chicken and even goat Curry and oxtail! Ice cream for dessert...

Anyone within 100 miles absolutely must come here for the very best meal that you will ever have! If you appreciate goat curry, then you will never want to eat anywhere or anything else for the rest of your life.

It's nice to have a place is Wilson with some unique food selections. They have Jamaican meat patties, fried plantains, jerk chicken, stews, and curry. The non-adventurous can get a sub or Hershey's ice cream or a shake. To top it off the ladies there...were super nice. Clean place with nice decor in a really old downtown pharmacy storefront. We saw several people getting lunch before boarding the train across the street. Note, this is not a fast food joint. It took a few minutes to get all our food. Some items like fried plantains are cooked to order. I see that as a good thing and worth a few minutes over blah fast food.More

Lots of ice cream choice . Also sells fudge . I thought the sweet selection was limited and there would be more choice ( and cheaper) in a supermarket

Great food, really friendly people. This is an oasis for a great meal, and a relaxed atmosphere if you're waiting for your next train. If I was local, I'd be a regular customer.

I've eaten their food only once. no second time around. What I tried was suppose to have been jerk chicken. I can't remember what it was because I threw it away. Really disappointed . I gave this facility a try because it is in my...community and I want to support our local businesses. Don't take my word. Try it for yourself.More

My wife was very hesitant on going here as she had not heard about it. We did get lost a bit even with Google Maps but we did find it. Believe me was entirely worth it. I had the oxtail. Melt in your mouth delicious...and full of flavor. On top of that the mixed vegetables were the very best we have ever had anywhere in the world. We have been at Michelin 3 star that were not even close. My wife had the chicken and it was the best she ever has had. What can I say. WHAT A SURPRISE. Prices especially at lunch are incredible and you will not walk away hungry.More

This place is worth the stop for delicious chicken in several flavors. My favorite is the brown stew chicken with red beans and rice and cabbage. They also have curry chicken and jerk chicken. Several other menu items to choose from. Everyone I bring here...loves the chicken though. You can't go wrong. At lunch the price is awesome, huge portions and a drink for less than $6.50. Wow! Then when your finished, get some ice cream!More

I stopped here to buy food for my trip back to NYC on 11/22 and I was in for quite a surprise. I was only expecting to get sandwiches but was surprised to see they had a full Jamaican cuisine menu. I purchased two orders...of the spicy shrimp and oh my god... say yum? I didn't necessarily like the way the shrimp were prepared because they just cook them with the shells on and don't clean them but overall all they were really good. And the rice and peas with cabbage? Say yum?!? Overkill I know but this food is damn good.More

This little restaurant is 50 steps from the Wilson Train Station. We stopped in to get sandwiches before we boarded the AMTRAC train to New York City. This turned out to be a wonderful choice. Clean and friendly staff ready to help make a really...fresh sandwich it was hard to choose. We enjoyed our food while traveling North on the train. I can recommend this friendly little restaurant.More
