If you haven't had it, it's definitely different. First it has cold slaw inside the samwiche! Since I'm not a fan of cold slaw I took mine off. The actual meat and seasoning I did like. They serve fries but corn sticks are what is eaten here and they were delicious.

It had been years since I had been to Parker's. It was just as good as I remember. Will definitively go back.

Stopped here on way south. Enjoyed 2 large dinner minced BBQ plates with Southern succotash, boiled potatoes, slaw, corn sticks & hush puppies & iced tea. BBQ was good but did have a couple bits of fatty gristle in it. Succotash was overcooked & too thick. Potatoes were very good. Sweetened iced tea OK. Slaw was cut fine & was... More

Barbecue is manna from heaven. To be fair, I don't have a dog in the great barbecue debate. North Carolina vs Kansas City vs Texas brisket, I don't really care. It's all good. My wife and her family have been Parker's fanatics for years. It started way back on road trips going to and from summer camp and first taste... More

Every time I stop by to get an order of their delicious Bar B Que, they are always packed with people! Not only do they have the tastiest, moist, and delicious chopped barbecue, but they also have other great items on their menu as well! Their fish and shrimp plates are delicious as well. The food is abundant, fairly priced,... More

When you walk in in the building you feel like you time warp into 1950. The all male wait staff dress the part. I'm told it gets very busy but I was able to beat the lunch rush. We got the family style that comes with Fried Chicken, boiled potatoes, BBQ Pork, coleslaw, fried corn stick, hush puppies. The fried... More

They have what looks like all male servers. Which all wear white shirts and the old fashion paper hats.Boy they move fast. We had the bbq dinner which came with 2 sides and the sweat tea. All were great. When we pulled up the lot was full. But had tables open and were waited on right away.

In the Wilson area for business. Was looking for dinner. The reviews on several sites were very positive. The place was busy for a Wednesday evening. Service was pleasant and fast. Food was good. I will return to sample more of their menu on my next visit in to Wilson.

Thank Rufus S
